Okay, first of all I am grateful to translator. But this is kind of painful to read. It goes downward from chapter 4. I can't feel the connection of the conversations. I think I still understand the plot, but not the conversations, especially chapter 6.

Ok what happened? I didn't understand what happened after the 3 years. Too rush. Incomplete information. What's the relation of Geon's father to what happened to him? How come it is his fault as he mentioned at the end? (Grammar is also a mess).
Duh, did you even read it? Geon's father was blaming himself for getting sick so he thought it was his fault that Geon ended up in that situation.
Snow-flower? So yukihana? Why did they translate the name too lol. And I didn't understand Ch 3 conversations at all. (writing this comment after reading chapter 3, not sure what's in ch 4 to 6 yet haha)

Yes, I recommended Lone Wolf to change that but she liked it this way better. Chpt 3 was not proof read, I did try to help her with the rest. I think it’s more decent. I personally don’t know japanese so I tried to make it fit as much as possible to what we would call it “correct”. I’m horrible at grammar; I guess any middle schooler would be . Give it a try. Anything free should be enjoyed. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
First rule of translation - don't translate word by word. I do appreciate you translators but please stop excusing yourself that you are not good in grammar. "I am learning" is better, yeah take it as an opportunity to learn tenses and correct grammar structure.

It sure does, but I’m not gonna judge since it’s free and well I can’t ask for perfection for something stolen lol I think of it as the generic type of manga hahahah so don’t be so cruel we can’t have negativity in this environment dude! Peace
Where is the negativity lol? That is just my opinion re the translated manga. I didn't say anything bad against the translators. And as I always said in my other comments in other manga too, I always appreciate the translators. But I also criticize how they always excuse their poor grammar because grammar can be learned.
English is not my primary language and I can't read kanji or hiragana so I am very thankful. I am just not happy how they put themselves down by always saying they are horrible in grammar. What I am saying is - take this opportunity to learn and improve.
Not to induce some more misunderstandings - but when you say "excuse their poor grammar" it sounds like an accusation (which might or might not be intended); as I understood (again, supposedly), you feel bothered when translators say "Excuse any weird sentences, speeches, sound effects and whatnot - poor grammar abound" since you'd rather see them announce:
- swamped with work
- drowned in foreign languages
- passionately working on getting the english grammar right
- (complainant gets automatically signed up for proofreading)
Imho translators already TAKE the opportunity to learn and improve in abundance (like networking, and communication with others to coordinate their efforts), so putting the disclaimer "attention: untamed grammar ahead!" up front allows for that parental loving nod when the sentence is there, and the letters as well and one has just to justle it a little brainwards to get what's there to get.
Hell, I could (should?) put a similar disclaimer each and every time I ost something, since english is not my first language, either (though I have to admit I'm notorious for the strange use of ANY language including my own, which might or might not be due to my certifiable craziness).

Yes, it's frustrating if the grammar is bad and I can't understand what I am reading. But my point is - please stop saying "my english is horrible" because that is you putting yourself down. I would love to see, "and we are learning!" or "where do you think we need to improve".
Oh btw, the grammar on chapter 1-2, and 3 onwards are decent. Ch 3 is pretty bad cause I have a feeling the conversations were translated per word and not as a context. That is why I said it feels disconnected.
Anyway, I am very thankful. Really. And I hope you'll take my opinion to see where you need to improve, not only for translating more manga (yay!), but also to learn more language (congrats!!!).
