Everyone is so mad that it isn't BL... this is not about BL, this is a journey about learning to accept yourself wholly, even the parts you hate and fear and not putting labels on yourself and forcing yourself to fit in, it's finding out that despite everything it will be alright, Makoto doesn't settle on being one gender or another but still continues to do the things they love, Saki doesn't get the perfect family that she wanted, but she knows she'll be okay, Ryuji doesn't get to be with Makoto but he's looking forward to his new life. Everyone moves on to be a different person from before, to become something bigger, better and brighter.
If you came here just to see two boys falling in love... then you miss out on the story and the message, reading this through the BL lense simply doesn't work... I love BL too but... if you know and understand this is not BL, you'll find this story to be something completely different but it's good, it's something amazing...
