The good thing is that as time goes by more people are reading bl, which it means that more people are becoming aware of it, that means more people are starting to produce bl content and now there's more variety because of it!
For example, 10 years ago I would have never dreamed to have seen a tv show like Yuri on ice
(Also! Remember that people are responsable of their own morals, yaoi IS for adults, adults are in astage where they're supposed to be able to differentiate fiction from reality, eg. I can watch a serial killer show and sheer on them, but I wouldn't defend a killer when they show them on the news!!)
