The manga version is utter crap. It's deviated so much after the balloon scene, it's become a fan-fiction of the original novel, with the mangaka exchanging the good stuff with completely nonsensical and unnecessary drama. I've just read the novel and the story's gained a 4/5 stars from me, it's that good! I'd suggest readers to read the original novel.

Only one word: Distasteful!
Disliked it in every way. Don't read this, it's a horrible waste of time.

Finallllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!! This was what I was waiting for!!! The wait was so worth it TT^TT (tears of extreme crazy happiness)

My take on this:
Now I feel like a huge burden has been taken off their chest after revealing their honest feelings. I knew that they'd put their relationship on hold to achieve their individual goals because developing one's own self is the biggest step and the biggest hurdle for them. Right now they need to focus on their career to become successful and amazing actors, while overcoming their emotional hurdles. Both have some reservations and complicated problems in their lives that they need to get through. Therefore, going headfirst into a romantic relationship would create a hell lot of problems, on top of it being an empty relationship built on some sort of escapism on both sides - eventually bound to weaken and break. It is utterly stupid and out of character for them. And I've not been waiting all these years for them to rush into a half-assed relationship. What i'm waiting for is a strong relationship of two independent, strong, confident characters finally mature enough to handle it.
I'm all for the long haul just for a full-fledged, satisfying, worth-waiting HEA.

80 chapters and no love confession? Wasted my precious time reading absolutely nothing but crap. Worthless characters, pointless bullying, unnecessary drama, no real intimacy in the marriage (relationship felt platonic to me), a story left incomplete with countless loose ends. Also, did the ML rape her in the 1st chapter, as she was clearly unconscious in the video and in another chapter when she was drunk and out of her senses? In short, this webtoon trivializes rape and marital rape, and promotes the fact that one has to get married to one's assaulter! (the FL, and Yan Bei Li) And what's with the ML constantly stressing that FL needs him to "protect her", to make her happy and shit, and his constant interference in her affairs? I'm speechless how romanticized his every actions are - though in reality such actions by men won't be tolerated or supported by any self-respecting woman.
His disability was the only human quality in him, but no, he had to be suddenly miraculously cured at the end, silencing and also supporting every bitchy characters' views in this webtoon, that a man is nothing if he's disabled - a great advice for all the disabled people on this earth!

    You aren't wrong. LOL

This one is Korean right? Sometimes they get really bad about glossing over stuff like that. Is it bad that I've read worse???

Then again it could be Chinese. Sometimes their comics get loopy too.

Would've given 4 stars if not for the pathetic last chapter which ruined an otherwise good story. Mistook her for his sister and gave her such a passionate kiss? Disgusting!! Also, who has sex with people that remind them of their younger sister? EWWWW.

when I first read this years ago, I adored the last couple's story. But now, I cringe at the stories, and yes, especially the last one.
The first, well the sensei was a thorough ass-hole and she, the STUPIDEST, DUMBEST heroine of this series. Also, I think she was basically raped because he didn't feel the need to ask for her consent, and she seemed against it at first, but gave in later, because as we all know, she'd been oh-so-hot for him all along, right?
The second, there was hardly any story to confirm their love. The guy's always too busy. The girl is so silly. I don't know what to say. But it was okay, i guess, and much better than the first one, for sure.
The third, the best among all four, according to me. He's way too easy-going and carefree but a decent guy. The girl's a bit too unreasonable but also, quite likable. The best part- they had chemistry! The best hero and heroine of the series. Also, the groping part was realistic (for me atleast) as some people really are unable to react under shock. Cute ending.
The fourth, was okay till she refused to get married. Suddenly, we see a cold, manipulative hero, who moves out, and stays close only for their project, until she gives in to him by proposing to him. He doesn't make any effort to try to make her understand his reasons to marry her, or anything of the sort. Is that really love?
The fifth, actually a sequel to fourth, somewhere i feel, the cold, manipulative side is the real him, he doesn't care if she's hurt, or is sad. Nothing of that matters other than sex. Again, he leaves her to give in to him, so he flirts in front of her, disregards the insults thrown at her, and her feelings too. But, she being the Dumbest of them all, is anxious about his flirting, but forgives him way too easily. He needed to GROVEL!!! And explain. But of course, a girl has too less pride to walk away. Anyway, hated it.
No way in hell am I reading this crap again.

I agree, I read this when I was in highschool and now that I read it again I realize how messed up most(the food one I liked, that was a healthy love one)of the relationships are. Especially the last one is appalling, he's so manipulative. To think I use to like this crap, it's not romance it's gaslighting and toxic.

Exactly! The last story's heroine should've left him for good, but she didn't. I disliked most of the heroines as they are too weak, indecisive and spineless. I don't think they know a thing about self-respect or pride for that matter. And honestly, I hate the way females are sketched in shoujo and even some josei mangas, as if they have jelly for a spine!

Yep. The 3rd couple is my only salvation in this worthless manga. If not for them, reading this would be an utter waste of my precious time. I sometimes come back to read the 3rd story :)

After reading the title, I definitely thought it would go down the usual 'Harlequin-cliche' style but I'm so glad I decided to give it a shot. It actually turned out to be quite good, with a strong heroine who was confident in herself, knew what she wanted without compromising on herself, was mature enough to give and take sexual pleasure without feeling ashamed about it (finally no virgin crap!) and most importantly felt human and realistic (regardless of the unrealistic plot/story).
And finally a male lead who was not a douchebag or an arrogant bitch but actually a charming, sensitive, romantic guy who wanted more in a relationship than just meaningless skinship/physical relationship (ooof, what reversed roles in the main characters! yay!), who was understanding, loving, caring and calm enough to give her time to fall in love with him. Well, I've definitely fallen in love with him, for sure, lol.
The plot is good, the pacing is consistent and not rushed for a change. The art is nice and the side characters are lovable as well (excluding a few, of course!). So it is definitely worth your time, and I'd recommend it to all romance-lovers.

The manga version of this harlequin is just so short!!! It doesn't have any significant details or the important moments of chemistry between the two leads. They just head straight from the wedding to the honeymoon, then the hospital and shortly after the reuninon, they kiss and we get our HEA!!! Where is the character development?? That is so not what happens in the original novel. Here, she just comes off as a weak, gullible and innocent push-over whereas in the novel, she's much more than that- a witty, outspoken, upright and stubborn heroine who won't take any shit, be it a prince or a king! She has so many good qualities and i'm so upset with the way she's portrayed in this manga. It definitely doesn't give her character the well-deserved justice! As someone who's read both the novel and the manga version, I'd recommend you go for the novel. You'll definitely enjoy it more!

Nooooo!! I want a sidestory about Kurokawa and Shima!!! They'll definitely make an amazing love story!! (≧∀≦)

manga-neko June 12, 2017 9:04 pm

why is it completed!!??(╯°Д °)╯╧╧
the main story was finally getting to the good part!! I wanted Sagiri to actually start loving him or to realise her growing feelings!!
I really loved Soushi's character! even though he is annoying in the start, he begins to grow on the readers and the last few pages of the 3rd chapter were just so cute that it keeps me begging for more!! it's so not fair for us readers to never know what happens next!!! ╥﹏╥
