Well, evil step brother did say something to trigger the emotions that Kyung's been keeping inside. He knows what he did was bad and because of Ho's past, he wants to protect him so bad, he became desperate, that and he's also inlove with Ho. That asshole of a brother just won't leave Ho alone and he also uses Kyung's feelings to, i don't know, maybe ruin their friendship. Because he also knows about Kyung's feelings for Ho.
