aw i feel so so bad for yuri. like i knew tht she suffered a lot while having to follow the original plot but MY GOD seeing it again reminds me of how sad her lives must’ve been and the fact tht she had to REPEAT these different lives over and over again it’s just so sad

Its because he's in love with her and always has been.. just like FL.. he also fell for her at first sight. But when he found out his strick Emperor daddy liked her.. naturaly he has to hate her.. so he mistreated her insulted her verbaly abused her yet secretly loved that she loved him so much she never wanted to leave..
And now with the "princess" slut.. he is remembering all the supressed love / emotions for FL he has pushed to the back of his heart from when he was young..
And all because GOD FORBID his strict father might have been right that FL was the ideal wife for him..
BUT that still does not give him the authority to torture someone for so many years I mean all she ever did was love him and what does he do torture her I mean she is becoming so miserable I can't she is too precious

Also think about it.. he turned her into the "poisonous rotten flower" and hates her for being it because it reprecents everything he hates (he made her what he hates to justify his hatred for her and deny his love for her).
Ad to that he says he dosnt want her and does everything to get rid of her exept use his power as emperor.. yet wont let her go at the same time..
Yes he kicked her out of the palace.. but he will still use his power to stop her from meeting men, and will spy on her with his "servants" just like he has in the past.. and yet he fears she might "give up on him" and move on.. so he will always use his power to pull her back in.. by either "forgiving her crimes" or using his power to force her to returne to his side.. only for it all to repeat again..
I just don't understand him he wants to get rid of her at the same time does not want her to give up on him ....can she breathe like wtf is wrong with him he is the worst I want him to rot feel horrible
He dosnt wana let her go because she is his first and only love, yet he hates her because his father liked her and treated her nicely (didnt normaly care for kids).
He was angry that his ruthless, strict, perfectionist of a father said she should be ML's future wife. So he chose to be angry with her and tell himself stuff like "she isnt cute when smiling! thats just what she wants you to think! its all an act! i cant like her!".
It is easier for him to say he hates FL than to atmit his father was correct. So FL has to be unfit to be his future wife... hence he sabotaged her and now uses that against her.. yet still loves her but has chosen to project that love onto the "princes".. why just happen to use the same Peach Flower perfume FL use to use, dresses modestly like FL use to and dosnt wear alot of makeup..
Also.. the "Princess" is doing all of those things because she remembers Ml saying she smelled like Peach Flowers and it was a nice calming smell..
After that she has adjusted her stile to fit his "prefrences".. and later on in the story when he is drunk he says FL's name when smelling the "princesses" perfume.. (refering to ML only liking the "princess" because she is copying how FL use to be, which is Ml's ideal woman).
I just hope he suffers cause just to satisfy his ego he made her like that

His suffering is that he thinks one of the ex comcubines burned FL to death to get back at her for being kicked out and abandoned by ML..
He has sleepless nights and and fits of rage and denial only to turne suicidal.. so his right hand man and "queen downguard" drug him to think FL is next to him.. when in reality its the "princess" pretending to be FL to get pregnant and become his empress..
At day Ml is angry and prone to self harm and at night the "princess" slipes him a drug to make him halucinate that she is FL..
ML later learns FL is ok, goes to see her and learns she was never evil.. it was the "palace" that made her an evil flower to survive.. He choses to have FL be free and not get her.. but cant live without her and starts a ware hoping to die...
Sadly he only gets gravely injure.. and the auther changed the ending.. from him dying to him and FL being happily ever after..
