Idk there's something very boring with the way the author has created this whole manga. The plot isn't moving at all. Daniel Criton is supposedly the grand villian but no information on him exists either in the future or present. How is that even remotely possible?
1. He is a public figure whose presence is not an isolated one but probably witnessed by multiple servants & helpers.
2 He is very obvious about his motivations, not subtle in the least & the useless grand duke doesn't even bother to investigate him? Anyone with a little brain would be a bit suspicious of the people around the grand duke mansion esp if the grand-daughtwr had mentioned that 2 letters were written every week for years & sent through diff. People.
Like this is no longer a matter of trust. Its a matter of absurdity that doesn't fit in this placid world view they live in
This chapter killed me! The resolute loyalty between mc & Maxion untainted by romance. I wish someone had assured me this way.
"Maxion listen to me
No one can replace you
Your place in my life has always been there,
At the same size,
With the same weight,
Regardless of all the other people I've met & will meet,
That will never change"
Lol idk about where this story is going but the interactions are hilarious! It's not placid conversations either.(≧∀≦)
All these authors always using the sick trope & somehow not getting it right. The desire to participate in normal things I understand.
What baffles me is how this supposedly sick mc somehow still has glowy skin, endless stamina, and no sick smell. The mc is sick enough to cough blood. That is pretty sick.
Trust me when I say that the dying sick have this odor about them that the living can discern. Dying is ugly.Nothing glamorous about it!
These 2 couple are such a good match for each other but I'm kind of getting tired of lovy-dovy scenes as a reader. Why? Because they might enjoy those scenes as direct participant but for me as an observer, the story could benefit from stimulation, drama, intrigue, clever management plans etc
If I had only 2 people I cared about in the world, irrespective of the degree of care, I certainly wouldn't take them for granted.
I mean, its become sort of a joke in the manga as well as the comment section about "how she forgot her brother again", but when u care u don't forget.
The author has conveniently "forgotten" to show us readers any moment of sweetness between the siblings during their childhood. And that seems to somehow excuse how indifferently mc treats her brother. But that's a big no no for me.
It's been bothering me for awhile that a grand Dutchess doesn't have her own guard escort. Irrespective of Cardi's childish feelings, he is duty bound as the lord of Odellita to provide such an escort for the lady of the castle
How many knights in Cardi's knighthood are dukes themselves??? That's a little odd or is it the wrong translation???
