I get that the author is trying to show the power of infinite regression for talentless slow learners BUT why does the mc he created have such a myopic view of the world.
The present scene is a goddamn battlefield (so was the 1st). Like as a reader, I can't shut off my brain & pretend that this is a duel of one talentless & idiotic fellow.
Correct me if I'm wrong. He can have his duel but he's the squad commander, where he goes, his squad follows. So what happened to his squad when he ran all the way to Mike hurrier. They might by the wildest bunch in the army but they will follow him. They are thousand times better than him, he could take them & fix the flag problem.
This is a very frustrating read for me. Probably others don't feel the same way but I am flabbergasted by this myopic mc, he never even informed the commander of the spell. The flag spell is not his problematic alone. This weakass mc has the biggest ego I'd ever had the displeasure of reading. He wants to solve everything by himself
For those who are in a dilemma about whether to read or not, please do. Its a delight.
This story follows an belluga family. And anthropomorphosised as they are, their growth rate does not follow the same growth as human children. If you are insistent on one world view, this probably not the manga for you.
Our super cute mc's growth is accelerated as she is a genius (but not all belluga babies grow as fast as her mentally or emotionally).
I love how tough she is both mentally & physically. She is funny, mature & most importantly does not lisp (as u are also aware how often authors tend to use that even though infants+toddlers lisping is only about 23% or so in reality).
So yes, the mc does not pretend to be a baby. She holds conversation with adults very well.
The art is brilliant & the splash of whites in our belluga characters' hair is super adorable.
Despite all the negative comments, as a new reader don't be discouraged from reading. Because this is a great find. And the fight scenes are also great, the artist doesn't use sexist poses for females fighting. Its an actual fight pose & I really appreciated that.
