Forced? Ur missing all the subtext in their many meetings.. as opposed to a noble lady he has met twice… both times she uses him like a tool to get what she wants.

i can see where ur coming from w the noble lady (don't care for her), but i dislike the childhood friend more bc he has literally shown 0 interest in her like ever... also childhood friend tsundere troupe is annoying and overused

Ah, I can see that, I have a mini novel comment above about the lil subtext that hint at them being closer than it may appear on surface, I feel we saw lil glimpses of how he feels about here after he rescued her from nuns. ALTHOUGH I STRONGLY AGREE Tsundere trope is my least favorite!! She’s not to terrible. But honestly I don’t think this story will have much romance (maybe at the end??) because he’s devoted to his goal of being a kick ass, honorable knight.
I wonder how many, if any of the knights have wives or serious relationships??? They live at castle in barracks right? Being a knight appears to be a full time job!

I low-key agreee with you though they only met like twice if given time and actually good character building a can see a good relationship. As to be honest she not annoying.her character is built very well just that right now there isn’t any spark between them yet

I just can’t imagine Vlad living in the world of novels, all the rules,restrictions, politics, back stabbing, power hungry folks etc. etc. She’s not just some daughter of a Nobel, she’s a baron and head of the family. He’s a bastard from the slums, even if she ‘broke all social rules’ and married him,he would never be accepted by 99% of those ‘elite’ assholes. Whether it’s his childhood friend whose always had his back, knows he hears the voice and whose sacrifice put the sword in his hand that lead him to where he is, or some other sweet commoner girl, I feel he would be more comfortable and happy in that world. He has only showed a desire to be a honorable night, not a Nobel, knights are definitely higher up in society.. but they still keep their heads bowed around their ‘betters’

All very valid points and why I haven’t been for it from the get-go. She doesn’t even seem to be mad because she’s jealous, it seems more like an ego thing

All points are valid but I think at some point wether he likes it or not he’s gonna be thrust into that world as in previous chapters it you can infer his dad is a noble. A duke at that, and the truth may come out depending on the route the writer is going in. And through out the manwha everyone keeps on mentioning how he looks like noble, like it’s a recurring point, so taking this in mind I can see a noble route coming. He may not like it but I think they’ll make the world know he’s a duke’s bastard child atleast

Alicia wasnt even really an option for Vlad, but he was aware of both girls' feelings. There was a part where Vlad had to leave Soara, and he asked Zemina to give him her handkerchief. So we know the implications of that.”

honestly i can live w the vlad and redhead pairing as long as it isn't a main focus. i also don't dislike the noble lady just being friends w vlad in the end too.

but i want to ask, why is the redhead even in the prophecy?(or does the prophecy have more to do with vlad having a kid?)

I personally didn’t read the novel that far ahead so i wouldn’t know. Im guessing it might have to do with Vlad’s future in general. And the detail wasn’t explained in novel updates either

His brother didn’t try to kill him. The purpose was to try and make Vlad F up the hunt so their clan would get the kill instead and gain control over the north. It started working when the dragon started fleeing and failed when Vlad broke out of the trance.

Also disagree on your take about the redhead, but it’s all subjective anyway. And since it’s already cemented in the novel, I guess none of our opinions would change anything about that.

just because they are childhood friends does not mean they automatically have chemistry. They have more of a sibling vibe its weird trying to force the romance

It's all subjective anyway. Some of us find them perfect together and some of you don't. I've seen characters who feel like siblings before and those two don't give me that vibe at all. Personally, I find that there's a reason why they see each other as family rather than siblings. The fact is they matter that much to each other without closing the door to the romance aspect. Anyway, I'm guessing you're pissed because you've seen spoilers about them.
