I hate when the main charcter gets together in mangas

I want her to go with kikuchi not kou cause most manga's the main characters get together and I think its annoying.

Manga name help

I'm trying to find a historical manga about a soldier who loves his wife but has a poker face and his wife who loves the husband a lot but doesn't know how much he loves her. It was super cute and wholesome and the art was pretty i think

I just finished reading my dear maria and would love to hear about any manga similar to it. I really liked the female lead character development and the pacing of the story.
