chaining him to the bed was absolutely unnecessary. I feel like the author just wanted to spice things up but it was so sudden than it didn’t really fit into the plot. in get that the seme likes to posses the things he wants but I think chaining him to the bed was just used as a scene pusher by the author, much like when rape is used in yaoi for “character development”
