Honestly, I don't understand what y'all are dissatisfied about. Everything that happened was understandable, and it's not like he did not suffer at all while she was gone. He saw how happy she was without him, and let her be to suffer in silence drinking. He literally put her happiness over his which is rare for a lot of mls when the mc leaves them. I'm honestly glad everything worked out for them.
