
This is so interesting because you can see there's a balance the author is trying to achieve through the MC. On one side are the people from the center who see the hybrids as fully livestock, hence why they don't hesitate to take mr. hen's egg or milk mr. cow without his consent. On the other side is mr. A who sees the hybrids as victims who are tortured by their animal constitutions and whose natures must be suppressed/sympathized. Neither is correct. Only MC is doing the "right thing," which is to let them be human (like working as farmhands) and let them be animals too (milking; not hiding their animal traits with clothes). MC having an indifferent/nonchalant attitude actually works in everyone's favor
