    Aitsu no Daihonmei

High school boys where one is ugly, the other isn't.

    Ang Ang (Yaoi)

The main guy is seen as scary and 'ugly.' The main lead is pretty and very sadistic.

Boku to Koi no Hanashi wa Shinaika

Handsome guy and a scary guy. Both have a shitty reputation.

    But You (Yaoi)

Loner emo loser boy falls in love with Prince Charming.

    Punch Drunk Love (Yaoi)

The main guy is pretty cute but wears big glasses, so people consider him a loser. And his main lead is a hot guy that can't handle him.

    Secret Inside My Head

The main guy is initially seen as a creep because of his long, baggy hair. The Main lead is some guy who cuts hair. This one is pretty odd.

I feel like some of my rec were picking at straws, but it's hard to find BLs that keep some people ugly, lol. (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜

Hello, I really love the stories where the Mc gets reincarnated or reborn or whatever into a child and it’s mainly about the relationship with their parents. I think it’s called romfam? Not really sure. Am not to much into the romance aspect of the story. But I just love the interactions with the family. So anyway do you have any good ones?

hey, i can just tell you about a few things beacuse i am friends with someone that cant see colors just give me a few minutes since my english isnt the best

    Yamanekio January 2, 2019 10:01 pm

so first of all, when we were in elementary school ( thats also when i got to know about it ) he always had little tags on pens so that he would know the colour and wouldnt have to ask. And well idk if that helps but when we did things in sport class the teacher had some bandage things made with numbers instead of colors so he would know which teams is his and which the enemy one. he can see blackish, whiteish and greyish so he can still stlighty tell the difference but that made it easier.

then when we were in our early teens he started to feel consious about dressing since he wouldnt know which colors go well with each other to the point that he wouldnt leave the house until someone told him if what he is wearing is good or not. he started tagging his clothes and wrote down which combinations were fine and also asked us ( his friends ) to go shopping with him. he was colorblind since birth so he was always curious about the " concept of colors" idk how to say it. we kinda started talking about colors with.. emotions :D? sorry its kinda strange but when talking about blue for example the first thing that came to my mind was water so i kinda said blue feels cold. and it was really really hard for him to relate to that. sorry if that doesnt really fit to what you asked
another things that we talked about a lot is that he kinda fells disconnect and apart from "normal" people because he wouldnt be able to share happiness about fireworks or paintings or whatever revolves around colors. he used to cover his ears when he was younger when he felt left out and later when he was older said to us that he did that because it made him feel less under pressure to fit in. now its not really that big of a deal for him anymore but it started affecting him pretty bad when he was 11/12 i guess because he started to be more aware that he is a bit different to others.
what made him suffer a lot was when someone said things like " well at least you are not blind so its not a big deal" or something. Even tho its " just not seeing every colour" it can make people suffer really bad. i am sure there are people that where effected more severly than my friends but i also didnt know how bad it can make someone feel so i am glad if people could not take it as something minor <3

i will ask him later if there are better things to tell you since that was just really little of how it affects him but i hope that also helped a bit

    Yamanekio January 2, 2019 10:09 pm

sorry if i am making your notifications blow up :D but what also is a big thing, and i guess thats for many people that suffer from that, that they can be very bad with bright light and getting headaches. he suffers from migraine since he is little so he his kinda a night person :D but special sunglasses help him do adapt. also he gets motionssick fast and is also not good with crowded places because everything kinda looks the same shmuggy colour :D thats what he said but i am really not sure how to translate that in proper english

In high school I was in yearbook with my friend who was the editor and partially colorblind. He always got two colors mixed up. Usually it didn't bother him but occasionally he needed a second opinion on what color something was on a layout. I've had a teaching who had trouble with stop light colors. Luckily they don't swap up the order of those.

As for what's happened now, he might just be surprised you're int manga or understand you're in that kinda phase of your life, curiosity. The relationship doesn't change so much, just chalk it up to a fun thing or pretend you'd not do again if they do behave harsh and follow the history step i've said. How old are you? If you are underage and they deserve to get angry but if you are over 20, then tell them that "it's gay but there are so many good stories and I dont care if it's gay or straight"
I will be 30 year old this year, and.... My mom and dad still don't know I read yaoi but my fiance is another story. I forced him to buy some yaoi books in Kinokuniya ahahhahaha

Happened to me one time i was cooking and left my phone on the dinning table and my mom whose prone to touching anything that doesnt belong on a table took my phone and pressed the home button and viola! Yaoi at its finest on my 5in screen. I was so shocked i wasnt able to shout dont touch it at her. She looked at me for a sec and then returned my phone back on its place like nothing happened.

My sibs knows im addicted to yaoi and asks me first if theyll see anything wierd on my phone before they open it. My father is oblivious since i kept the word yaoi from him a mystery. Hes also a little mean towards gays. Only a little. But respects them as people.

ouch that's rather harsh ( ̄∇ ̄") I'd think people reacting in a harsh way can be out of too much love as well, they just have a different way of executing it

    ArdenWinter January 9, 2017 6:12 am

Well, first of all, it may not be as bad as you think, so don't panic right away. I obviously don't know what your pc history looked like, but it's possible he could have seen the manga without reading it or realizing what it was. Even if the front cover is, uhm, well let's just say 'obvious,' my parents have mistaken male anime characters for women on many occasions.

As some others have already suggested, definitely start using the incognito tab until your privacy is otherwise guaranteed.

On the other hand, if your parents are shocked or start raising a big argument here is my advice (This comes from my own experience and mistakes in having dealt with a highly similar situation, since my parents are conservative as well and caught me reading yaoi when I was 12, oops haha).

First, stay calm, it might seem like a huge issue right now, but flipping out is a waste of your energy and will only make you upset and potentially make the outcome worse. Even if your parents threaten you with various consequences, don't let it upset you too much.

Second, make sure you explain enough to avoid any misunderstandings about sexuality, etc. that you don't need to have happening. I.E. you don't want to cause confusion about you yourself being homosexual, if you are in fact not homosexual. (Obviously, I don't think there is anything wrong with being a homosexual. If you are, don't feel like you have to come out of the closet for the sake of explanation, either Even though they're your parents you don't owe them a confession unless you yourself want to give it. Anyway, this is getting a bit off, track, so I want to get back to my other points. Sorry if it is long winded, just trying to help.)

Third, if anything, your best excuse would be to say that you came across it by accident and that you were just curious, since it was something that was discussed in health class or something. That way, it doesn't look like you were reading for enjoyment (even if you were muahahah), which might be something that would concern your parents, as it did mine (because, apparently, sex is something taboo for us to know about or be curious about at a young age despite the fact that it is pretty much everywhere in our society, and also just a natural thing *rolls eyes*). Just be careful with the reference of where it was discussed. Your parents could call your teacher to check to see if the statement was truthful. Also, avoid implicating your friends, reference some random individuals who you don't know if you have to. (I only say this because when I got in trouble when I was younger, my parents immediately went to discuss this with my friends's parents. They thought that my friends were a bad influence, so they wouldn't let me hang out with anyone anymore. So I was basically alone for four years because my parents accidentally alienated me from them and from my friends at the same time. I'm not saying that will happen to you at all, but just keep it in mind.)

Lastly, I just want to say that you'll be totally fine in the end. It may end up that you can't read yaoi for a while (which sucks, but oh well, right?), but parents can be more understanding than you think. They might not be able to relate or 'get it' at first, but don't feel bad, they'll get over it. lol Just don't get carried away and say something unnecessary or hurtful in the heat of the moment if you can help it. (//^_^//)

    Josuke January 9, 2017 8:00 am

Omg, I was in a very similar situation with my dad a few years back, and later my mom. What made it worse is that my parents are not only conservative, but devoutly religious (but not super homophobic) and both of them are pastors. My advice to you would be to leave it alone. Try as hard as you can to avoid bringing up what happened in a conversation. Just play it off. However, if your parents do bring it up, just be honest with them. Don't lie. It'll only make things worse, and they won't trust you anymore. It's gonna be difficult, and hella awkward for you at first, but telling them the truth will pay off for you in the long run.

Why the heck are they looking through your laptop when you are already an adult then? That really is none of their business at all. If they are surprised by finding something there, then it goes along the lines of "hearing things you don't like when eavesdropping." Shouldn't have been looking in the first place.

In any case, just ignore that and don't feel bad. You don't need to give a shit about what your parents opinion of your hobbies are in your private life.

Conditional love, we love you only if you're a good girl, but if she's different they don't want her anymore. That wasn't love and yes some parents don't love their children in the middle east they kill their daughters if they cross the line and call it " honor crime"
But then again if they're just upset and treat her cold for a month or so then it's just them sulking and will be back in no time.
