This is getting boring. It feels like the plot has become “how many times can we force the bottom to have sex with me”. The modern storyline was better
Sadly, I agree. It seems this story has fallen into what I call the “Flashback Trap” A story with a flashback that goes on for way too long when we could have gotten the same idea with much less. This may be the third comic I’ve read where this has happened, sometimes it can be saved but if it’s still stuck in flashback mode after 5+ chapters, the writing is usually doomed and won’t get better. At least in my experience. Too bad, this was an interesting one too. A drop for sure
Sorry but can you name some of these stories with the long flashback I'm curious because I have two in mind but they weren't that long I think
the longest flashback I can think of is Eternal Covenant. It's basically a whole other story with the same amount of detailed story telling as the main story so it's taking a reaaallly long time. I like the info we're learning but with how fleshed out it is, I feel it should've just been a prequel story released to supplement much shorter flashback chapters.
The flashback also started when a really big conflict was picking up between the characters so not great timing....

You should have been here when it first came out on here. 2017/2018 everyone loved abusive fucks and if you called out the rape culture you would be massed disliked. I'm happy to see the community changing for the better

It was really bad. Yaoi still has a problem with consent in stories (and as a gay person I think it's rooted in authors fetishism and homophobia but that's besides the point) but it was way worse years ago. There were rarely any healthy couples in yaoi back then, and if there was they would be rated poorly for being "boring".
