the story about the girl (servaine) and Mel (the mermaid) is on the past, it's actually their backstory, rn on chapter
12, we're finally going back to the present time, our FL in action is named after the girl who took care of the mermaid, which means they're relative (if u read the desc, u can tell, the sickly servaine is FL's great-grandfather's granddaughter) and they just happened to have the same face with a same name. but maybe there's a possibility they're the same person ? I'm hoping that FL is the reincarnation of the servaine in the past :/

Not confusing. It literally just showed us the story of og servein (niece of grandpa). Then we are in the present with granddaughter servein who looks exactly like her grandpas niece.
Somehow it's quite disappointing though just when it gets too good I hope she's the Reincarnation of the first FL
