I agree with you, I actually feel for all three people especially Ray, he actually did everything he could to protect Soha by not telling where the jewel is so he wouldn’t get abandoned. But Ray was starting to be left behind by Soha in a way because of love. So yeah I get Ray, yeah it’s not the right way to go he could like talk it out but that’s not how Rays personality is, he tends to be closed off and keeps his emotions inside. When he cried he realised he wasn’t cared for people just wanted to use him for his knowledge about the jewel. He may be another personality but he’s still human he’s just a different person in a shared body. He wants to live just as much as the next person he wants to be cared for too.

It was really really good some of the “scenes”were dragged out..like it honestly took to long for him to confess his feelings for her.Sometimes the MC would do to much but, the story wasn’t terrible.Maybe they could have lessened the chapters..Like I think it didn’t really need that many chapter..the only reason I say that is because of the “plot”It could have been done in lesser chapters if that makes sense （￣へ￣）
1.Him expressing his love for her could have been shorter.
2.Them killing or sentencing the “villains” could have been wayyy shorter.
I feel like they should have added more characters that liked the duke and the MC so it could be more interesting.And not just about the “villain”of the story and the maid.

Like every story were the “non”main character has to get the “heroine”with the emperor they always fall in love.Like I really wanted it were she didn’t fall in love yet and she truly try’s for them to get together.Shes really not pushing them together I think that would make the story juicer.Cause she’s literally doing nothing but making mistakes and not doing things at the right time.Like UGHHH I really didn’t want her to fall in love yet cause it’s going to “mess”up the story.Its just how I personally wanted it to go.
I don’t ship her with the blonde dude but I think the best way for her to get away from the emperor is to go with the blonde hair dude.He knows exactly what’s happening and he knows the story so him helping her could really make the story better.Instead of it being the same thing like other story’s.
