I'd argue that there is probably significant overlap between people who get upset about young/young looking people in sexual situations in art and CSA survivors. Speaking frankly, I am like that. I'm trying to not get in a tizzy about it as much because it is exhausting and an impossible fight to win on this site, but I understand the points being made and it does still bother me how prevalent it is in pop culture.
Anyway, it's not a good look to lay all the blame for "protecting" children from abuse at the feet of people who are not engaging in it and are likely children themselves. Bad comparison. I think it might help to further research and understand the mechanisms of abuse and trauma. It is unclear from your comment about cases as to whether you are a lawyer or a survivor, but in either case, understanding the patterns and variables that contribute to CSA is helpful to gaining compassion for clients and the self.

he didnt let yu'er dance out of possisiveness, and wangyes sudden hate was due to the emperors false words . Yu'er is at slight fault for lying to Wanye about the emperors visit (how the problem started) and thus miscommunication occurs bcos yu'er is mute.ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

i like BL because usually they tend to have better plots and better, more relatable main characters than shoujo...i don’t really relate to the femme girls with super perfect bodies and friendly/ditsy personalities. i DO relate to characters with strong, snarky, “masculine” personality traits. HOWEVERRRRRRR i despise people that go on GL, Shoujo, anything that isn’t BL and go “wow wish this was bl. dropped” or “i won’t read this if it’s not bl” (this happened to me when i was recommending the blood of madame something or other i don’t remember the name). BL is my favorite manga/manhwa/manhua genre. i like seeing the characters i relate to in different situations and dynamics. don’t bring that stuff into other genres because honestly that IS fetishization and it really makes everyone uncomfortable. you’re also giving BL readers a bad name
