I actually think it's interesting that his pheromone is multilayered w multicolors and that they're a shade/s tones that you wouldn't other wise see in a typical pherome based comic. Typical ones are just your avg blue, green, red, monotones.

it's true, it's a curious choice. but I personally think in a visual medium we try to communicate "smell" through text and importantly, colour! and if it's communicating the wrong thing to the readers, I think you're not doing it right. there's a reason why normal pheromone colours would be pleasant and soothing/exciting ones like pink or yellow.

I'm not going to judge the alpha too harshly until I see more of their backstory, and more of the sexual interactions beyond the current chapter.

No he's not. Sadly it's Yahwi. Do you see Jooin cares for Cain as much he cares for Cain? Yahwi had treated Jooin badly but Jooin was easily forgive him but when Cain "did" hiding his reason (in order not to worry Jooin), he was casting away by Jooin that easy. It's hurtful truth.. Cain is really a side piece. I'm terribly sad for him. He don't deserve this!!!

Tbh i wouldn't say Jooin easily forgave Yahwi, in fact he's even now clearly not nearly as fond of him as he used to. Especially if you consider how love triangles usually go!!! 99% of the mc's forgive the abusive main leads right away but with Jooin we finally had a little revolutionary moment. He told yawhi off, avoided him, told him he regrets falling for him and even has the self awareness to reflect on how abstract it is that yahwi is suddenly trying to change and keeps bringing up his oh so tragic past just so jooin can pity him.
You know? It's srly refreshing to see. I have high hopes for the author to not go for the usual route. Cain ftw! He's not a side piece whatsoever. Have you forgotten the long ass cain arc before the author went on hiatus?? Yahwi was history!

I understand what you mean but Jooin constantly hurt Cain with his rejection seems off to me. I can see he's over the heel of Yahwi. Even until now. Yeah, he avoided, he didn't accept him much but can you see Jooin reaction everytime he was with Yahwi Vs Cain? Even though he still hasn't accept Yahwi back, he showing awe reaction all the time. Like blushing, shy and reconsider of everything. But when he was with Cain, he just simply say this and that and totally avoided him. He don't have much reaction towards Cain as much as he has with Yahwi. That's why I said Jooin never love Cain. He just consider him as love interest but not much development since his heart lays on other guy. This is what Cain sees as much as we saw it too.

It's not all about Cain feeling. It's also about Jooin feelings too. I'm sorry but most of the stuff you're referring to are from S1. We are in S3 now and Jooin has not once look in Yahwi direction. If you pay attention Jooin is more attach to Cain, he's more distraught over one phone call than Yahwi backstory. This shows use that right now, Jooin feelings are yearning towards Cain despite him not realizing it yet.

Sorry I can't see the way he looks at Cain and the way he looks at Yahwi. It's totally different no matter how much I read it. I can see him love Yahwi even thru rejection but I can't see him in the same spark with Cain. Well, we all have different perspective and how we perceived of this story. For me he might love Cain but not as much as he loved Yahwi. that's what I feel..

Yeah fr I 100% agree. For BL standards (!!!) Jooin genuinely barely pays attention to Yahwi. The only times he does that is after Yahwi forces himself on Jooin again, which is a natural response i'd say
