His boyfriend broke up with him and left the country after telling him he doesnt find him attractive. Hes sleeping around because he wasnts people to appreciate his body, he wants to feel wanted. Hes also suicidal so he ends up going to far and getting with people that will hurt him. He feels like he needs to be punished because he cant fully accept that anyone would actually like him.

Not everyone has access to a therapist, and im not justifying his actions. But i am explaining them. Depression makes you act irrational and self destructive, hes basically self harming in a way ties to his insecurities. But that doesnt make him a bad person.

He is definitely not a bad person, but at some point, you have to take the first step to try to get better.

Ok, redhead is likely Aromantic rn. He doesn't want anything romantic and has been open af about that to everyone. He has a kink for being hurt during sex, which isn't uncommon for victims of abuse or SA. He delt with more trauma from the forced parentification brought on by his mother's illness, which means he lost out on a very important social relationship with his parents. It would be an attachment disorder, which would make him believe that he needed to rely on himself, because he was expected to care for the child who wasn't his. Because he wouldn't put faith in others to take care of his problems, he bottles up all of his pain and problems. Because he could never emotionally rely on others, he will suffer more from emotional instability. To top it all off, he has CPTSD and child PTSD. The latter can have a massive affect on your brain and how it solves issues for the rest of your life. Child PTSD can mimic ADHD symptoms, effecting things like, memory, emotional regulation, sleep, and impulse control.

So redhead isn't really doing anything wrong here. At every opportunity, he has been honest about not wanting a relationship.

You know who is in the wrong? Possessive af baseball bro. He assaulted and sexual harassed redhead. Choking someone who refused to leave their home and then forcefully kissing them, is fucking abuse. He isn't in love with redhead. He doesn't care about redhead. He wants to own him. He viscerally hates everyone who has touched or had sex with redhead. That is how abusers think love is. Him feeling shame about it after his actions, doesn't fix anything. He needs to profusely apologize and change how he sees people.

Buzz cut could be an asexual bi man with a preference for women or just more of a sexual attraction/reaction to women. He was wrong to not ask for time to think about starting a relationship with redhead. He was wrong to keep the relationship going for so long when he figured out he wasn't in that kind of love. He was wrong for how he said it and when he brought it up. He is a much better individual than baseball bro. He genuinely cared deeply for redhead, it just wasn't the same kind of love.

Nosy twink is a good person overall. He cares deeply for redhead. I can say with certainty, that he loves redhead. He tried everything he could to help, and when he realized he wasn't enough, he did what he thought was the right move. It wasn't the right move to bring abuse bitch back, as that could cause far more harm than it could fix. I think he treated this whole thing with the seriousness it deserved. He also didn't lash back at redhead after getting chewed out by him, but he does show redhead what happens when you try to push people away, which is important.

Model man is something. He is over interested in redhead as his source of happiness, because he has no real sense of self. He has been receiving tons of abuse from his older sister, who has been using severe emotional abuse, as well as possible starvation or food restriction tactics to keep Model man exactly where she wants him. He isn't giving himself anything. Not love, care or confidence, but it isn't really his fault. He was trained to think and feel this way, possibly all his life. Both he and redheads are victims. He doesn't push redhead for more, because he never once thought himself worthy of love. Which is why he was fine with just sex and no strings, because his inevitable failures that he believes he will have, can't destroy what isn't there.

All in all, baseball bro needs to be fucking stopped. He, redhead and Model man, all need therapy. Nosy twink needs to stop and think more about how certain actions could negatively affect others. Buzzcut needs to do way more introspection into himself and his sexuality.

For anyone wondering why Base bro #2 isn't here, it's because he is actually the only stable one here. He cares deeply for his teammate, takes proper stock of others feelings, interacts with minimal hostility, and so far hasn't made excuses for stuff. He is passionate and friendly. He doesn't yet know the details of what baseball bro did, so it makes sense that he has yet to condemn those actions, instead defending the man he knows and cares for. He is a very good example to have around this band of misfits.
