Mea culpa everyone. It's was very confusing but the reason there is so many different spoilers is because this novel as two "routes" like it is an otome game. So their is the "Prince ending" (my spoiler) and the "Childhood knight" ending.

So they both are the ML in fact. In the manga it can go either way.

the dad gave him a knife to protect herself i think? and the crown prince wasn't really going to kill her , he was going to save the fl but the fl misunderstood and killed herself.the father really loved our fl he just doesn't show it because it can harm our fl since the emperor wants to leash the fls father by using her. once the emperor knows that her father's weakness is our fl, the emperor might kill her or stuff just to control the father.

Nope, it's opposites, everyone will love him and wanting him as boyfriend. Because i have seen lot of comments that female readers justice rapist male lead and wanting him as boyfriend cause he is hot. For example abandoned empresa, ML kill female lead and her family. She forgive him and end up with him. Poor second male lead end up with nothing.
