I blame dojun for half? 1/4? Of this..
Chowon is... Well, he has a super dark personality, you can't hurt or scare people just because life didn't work out how you planned. Dojun didn't love him, he simply thought he was doing the right thing by settling down, he didn't go into the relationship to purposefully hurt Chowon so I can't lay the blame at his feet. Besides, just because something goes wrong in a previous relationship doesn't mean you're justified to threaten your ex's current lovers, nor does it mean the ex is the one with the problem. Arranged marriage is still very much a thriving custom in today's world, and unfortunately it can create situations like this. I sympathise with Chowon for how much he feels abandoned, but his instability also scares me. I wouldn't want to be around someone like that in real life knowing they had threatened people.
I mean, was Chowon like this before? I’m sure he struggled with mental illness and the years of indifference and neglect from the person he married and loved only exasperated that. Sure Dojun didn’t mean to hurt Chowon but he selfishly agreed to a marriage to appease his family knowing he wouldn’t even try. Dojun even admitted he would have just let it continue that way but Chowon divorced him. Dojun is a spineless jerk.
I’m sure Chowon was under a lot of pressure his whole life because he’s a dominant omega. And when he finally gets married the alpha he comes to lovecompletely ignores him. I feel sorry for him.
Yeah, I agree with you that it's Chowon fault for doing those crazy things but yeah We shouldn't ignore the factors that lead to him doing it and also understand why he is acting that way like his family literally groomed him that he is "PERFECT" that he is above anyone else and he deserves anything in the world just because he is a fucking dominant omega and then Dojun neglect him we can't deny that since Dojun himself admitted to it and idk if I found out that my husband only maries me to appease society and his parent's expectation and dreaming about other people while being married to me I would go crazy too. Now, while this is not enough reason to excuse Chowon's shitty and crazy actions, it will gives us an idea that maybe he just need mental help (He's also pathological jealous I believe he is really ill) and also yeah We can't blame Dojun for the crazy shit Chowon did but he wasn't completely faultless either. I'll only blame him to the fact that he married Chowon even though he didn't love hime and he ignore and neglect Chowon. But other than that It's all on Chowon.
What he did was actually what triggered everything... Ignoring him, making him feel like shit. Then proceed to date someone else... Bruh... I would be pissed too. I won't threaten people's life but I will say my mind and leave him to God.... Dojun is chowoon's trigger word, his time with dojun is a traumatic event for him.
Marrying a wrong person is one thing when you put a lot of effort and love that person only to realized they are not the one.. on the other hand dojun did NOTHING.married him just because, after wedding neglegted chowon, treated him like a stranger and shit, he doesnt even try! Now, he shows that he his concern and worried, he should have done that when they are married..
Now, i dont condone chowons wrong doing, iam just saying dojuns actions affects chowons and somehow contribute to this madness.
I tend to think Chowon had a problem to begin with. He has a superiority complex, because he thinks of himself as the perfect dominant omega in his own eyes, so how could Dojun not fall head over heels for him, because he's so absolutely perfect, right? Chowon looks down on people and is condescending, arrogant, and narcissistic. I'm sorry if I dislike his character, but to me he displays no redeemable qualities. And he was this way BEFORE getting involved with Dojun. Just how he wipes his hand clean after touching Byul also shows his rotten personality, are we gonna blame Dojun for that too? Chowon is NOT a nice person, and I'm kind of bothered that people are willing to give him a pass or blame his shortcomings on others.
Chowon obviously had issues before marrying Dojun but there’s no way you can say the marriage didn’t hurt and affect him. Sure he has a big ego and thinks less of these , but we’ve seen nothing to indicate that Chowon’s mental illness was this bad before he married Dojun. Do you honestly think years of being neglected in a marriage to someone you love would have no effect on a person?
Dojun is apathetic and selfish. He didn’t care about hurting Chowon, in fact, he didn’t care about Chowon at all. It takes two to tango- Dojun didn’t have to marry Chowon.
I just think it’s so hypocritical that everyone hates Chowon but gave ever other crappy character a chance. This whole story started with Dojin raping and manipulating Hyesung into keeping a baby and staying in a relationship with him. Shouldn’t that be unforgivable? But the two are happy know so it’s all fine? Welcome to yaoi ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
I never said that the original couple doesn't have its own problematic elements, but this is also why I don't blame Dojun. He did not do the same things to Chowon, and if I personally saw that my partner wasn't engaging me the way I expected, I'd say "Hey, let's end this." And move on. While Chowon did choose to end things first, he did not move on. That's what I take issue with most. The guy clearly doesn't love you, and never did, why this obsession? I know why, because he couldn't accept the thought of an alpha with a perfect pedigree not wanting him an omega with a perfect pedigree. It's like crying over spilt milk, wipe it up, buy another carton and move the fuck on.
Maybe it's because I personally HATE the hime archetype in characters, but Chowon wants his cake and wants to eat it too and I'm not a fan of this type of character at all. I also don't like Hyesung's attitude sometimes, very bratty and makes me wanna smack him upside the head, but I also understand more why he panicked and why he felt trapped. With Chowon, I can't find it in myself to be sympathetic, he created his own problems.
I dont understand the chapter 1 and 2, more specificly who is cale? Chapter 1 seems to be a reader's point of view in the novel, then in chapter 2 that person became cale? So thats why he knows all the details? Because we already read it?
Chap 0 is the prologue. The original story where Choi Han is the protag and the title of the book is "The Birth of the Hero". (Pls refer to the synopsis)
Chapter 1 onwards is Cale Henituse's POV. Cale Henituse's soul is a transmigrated soul from Korea. Cale (or the one who is in Cale's body~ if I said any more it will be too much spoiler) has read the novel up to Vol. 5 of "The birth of the Hero" where he is a minor villain.
Hope this help

I hope the elves see the MC first before the humans, because humans can say that the elves did all that to them and MC might do decisions he might regret, since i think he will trust them fast specially it will be a long time since he met a human. If he meet a human, i hope it is the good knight
