That's a wrong chapter. The first chapter (actually Prologue) was released by Whatever yesterday. The one by Mafbos translation there is actually from the third volume of the series. Here, check this out: https://whatever.services/project/veil
Could it be that Gaeul likes Haneul romantically and used Hayoon as a substitute, they are so similar after all. Later on Hayoon found out and kill him and his parents cover it up for him?
Would make sense why he is obsessed and hate Haneul so much.
The only nice and innocent one (relatively speaking) is Haneul's flatmate. Lol
This couple has a serious communication issue...
The reason behind his rejection to spar with her is probably: he doesn't want her to evolve into his rival. That'd be repeating the same mistake as his previous life.
The man is so pitiful, life after life his goal has always been only to have her. He obviously did something in his previous life so that they're restarting it now (in an alternative universe?) since he said he gave up everything for her last words--though there is a miscommunication somewhere there too, his idea is to possess her but her idea is to become his knight.
It REALLY DOES SAY 'CRUNCH' mind you. Like really, 'CRUNCH' in Korean. And yes I have had an internal debate with myself and other Koreans whether I should change it to something else. But seeing how we had edited out so many lines before (leaving notes all over), I decided to leave 'crunch' as 'crunch'. Are we clear? lol
I am really curious, shouldn't someone be telling other people that the translation of the Korean messages was wrong? lol I mean the author didn't say what people think she said. I mean maybe nobody has realised that she didn't say she'd dox him? lol
but she did she posted pictures of his face and asked people for his personal info
may i ask what their twit or media @ is?
if I'm not mistaken she delete her twitter account but her @ is @YD01647980
yeah she did ask, so she could report them, not to dox them. It seems that no one could understand Korean so I think the misunderstanding just aggravated. Like here, people just went insane cursing at the authors because of the misunderstanding which is caused by the language barrier.
And the pictures she posted, he himself posted them in the public, so I am not sure it counts? The man seems to like to share his photos in public for praises. lol... I was a bit curious about this whole thing too so I and my Korean translator read through the Korean websites about it as well. Including the twitter posts. The part where he thought she said 'no apologies, just erase it', that's wrong. She actually said 'You keep demanding things from me but you never apologise.'
No, she just set it to private I think. Actually the whole story is pretty long to read, if you googled it and read the announcement made by her and the other authors it'll become clear that the whole thing is a mess of a communication issue. Especially the uploader just interpreted it however he wanted without even knowing Korean. It's amazing how it becomes like this and how people react to the author despite her not actually doxing anyone. lol
She just wanted to file the lawsuit against the person. not doxing them. I wonder if nobody here knows Korean, how could people just say whatever they want to say about her based on that uploader's posts alone.
