at first I like the idea but after reading too many ABO stories I start thinking that its actually unfair to humans.

Omega can be easily exploited into prostitution since their body constitution and get in insult like ur body is just for breed..there also not so much choice to work bcoz of heat cycle, therefore omega is not likely to be working at office and hardly to get a stable job.. If an omega, u get so much more sexual assault which is quite terrifying... And if ur poor u hv the hardship to buy pills which you took monthly.. So bein a poor omega is a nightmare..

there seems to be a huge divide between the three categories with alphas as superior and omegas as inferior. Omegas are constantly looked down upon, raped, enslaved, forcibly impregnated, and oftentimes bound by a simple bite to the neck. In some mangas omegas have very few rights and their heats have so many consequences. and a lot of characters hate their life so much solely based off of just being an omega so its hard to see why anyone would want to live in such a universe. the aspect of finding your soulmate and being able to give birth as a male sound enticing but from all of the omegaverse manga ive read, i would never LMAO

I'm mostly with you cause of curiosity, I wonder what its like to be an omega or an alpha, but if its actually real, its gonna be shitty. Cause in omegaverse mangas or manhwas omegas have a hard time. Omegas are basically expected to stay at home and be the perfect house wife or just raise kids or be a breeding slave or something. Its gonna be basically like a social class system where alphas at the top and omegas way down at the bottom. And omegas can't get a stable job, or a job they want to do. They are basically forced to just become prostitues since that is expected, or if you're lucky a simple cafe staff or maybe your mate is a kind person. Alphas as well, they are expected to lead people and stand atop the food chain or somethin and they are always expected to be able to do everything flawlessly.
And the people won't be able to fight the heat or rut that comes, and there's a huge risk in everything basically.
In my opinion its gonna be a shitty world but as they say... Curiosity kills the cat...lol

Goddamn it guys stop being so cynical. Modern omegaverse story have equal rights (why am i pushing dis ok forget this). Genders learn to adapt and deal with shits. I like the idea of binding and marking the "territory" plus they can get pregnant. Surely omega does have a lot of cons but living in today's society where reputation and social status are important, it'll be a huge shame to one who regresses into their own instincts. Equal rights my ass. Even if one had equal rights, being in an omegaverse means that regardless of the law your instincts are bound to kick in. Children born out of rape, fatherless children, forever-partner-less mothers due to their mark. This leads to a process of natural selection where omegas kill themselves from existence. While taking into consideration that within a normal population, omegas are abnormally rarer than alphas and betas.

If omegaverse was EVER real, it would be safe to say that ultimately everything would eventually revert back to normal where only females are the only ones that can give birth.

Again, the reason being that it'll lead to a process of natural selection where omegas are killed off in a frenzy of hatred- be it suicide or homicide due to their incapabilities and the idea that their mere existence is a failure.

Alphas would reproduce with betas making alpha or beta children. That's it. Only females would be able to give birth.

the existence of omegas would negate the need for gender in the first places, if humans evolved like this we would probs be like clownfish or something and change sexes when needed

Sure why not. I would also want to experience heat and feel very aroused sometimes. But ONLY if there will be no discrimination and rape. Also it's kind of sad to always be conscious of your sexual needs instead of focusing on the most important things, so materialistic. So maybe I would like to live there for about 1-2 months?

No modern omegaverse stories are becoming worse, there is much more discrimination. C'mon I fucking saw a boy getting discriminated against in his own omega household just because his body is not as 'arousing' as his twin brother's who has boobs. But they did something pretty wrong there, his body is pretty arousing lmao.
