What’s the point of doing that when you want to spread awareness of people’s lives out there. There are many people with lives exactly like Saki. This manga is supposed to make you feel disgusted, sad, empty and for the most part, it’s to teach you to rethink your choices in life and choose carefully. There’s a lot of meaning in this and a lot of things you can learn from this.

The whole fucking manga was about sex while using actual life events and is categorized as HENTAI. Hentai is porn not to educate anyone. Using the word “educate” to defend this is so wrong. I’ve been a victim and it’s just so harmful how you throw the word “educational” so people can understand the struggles others go through. There is a difference to imply sexual abuse and such you don’t have to make a whole as manga of a girl struggling and the author making this into a hentai for a male audience to fap on something. Banana Fish is a good and educational example of victims and survivors of rape, sexual abuse, child p***, etc. They IMPLIED the situations Ash the protagonist went through without having to sexualize the whole anime and manga. This is the correct way to educate people on the struggles others go through not to make a whole manga of a young girl having explicit sex for fap material. Educate yourself and stop defending this. Like I said before this would have been such a good manga if they IMPLIED what was going on with the girl or they showed a FEW scenes to understand the situation not make every chapter into a hentai

ok? There are many ways for people to understand stories. Just because this manga is a hentai doesn't mean it isn't educational. The author even said that it's a manga in which helps readers understand what others are going through. Just because there's sex, rape and so on doesn't place it further away from it being an educational resource. Banana Fish's implication is completely different from Metamorphosis. You're saying how any anime/manga series such as Erased that shows any harmful or brutal scenes isn't educational? Shown how Kayo was abused by her mother-- Oh shit! I'm a victim of that as well, the scenes were detailed so it isn't educational!
It's a hentai, you can't do shit about it. The author wanted to interpret the story this way so nothing of sorts can be sugar coated. Also, why can't the author make "a whole ass manga of a girl struggling"? He does what he wants, I learnt a lot from this manga and I know a hella lot of others who did as well. Don’t fucking compare sexual abuse and rape with domestic abuse. Since when did I go against victims? I never said I supported whatever the fuck he put in here? I just said it’s educational for people as it shows what things like Saki wanting to fit in causes. Whatever Saki did in the beginning caused so many things in which led to her death. As said again, just because it shows explicit sex scenes, rape, sexual abuse does not place it any fucking further from it being eductional. It’s not that I think it’s educational because the author himself says it’s educational, but because I and as well as many other people learnt from this. This manga portrays other peoples lives as Saki, who first wanted to fit in, but because of that, she went further downhill into her life. I don’t support rape, sexual abuse or any of that shit. I never said showing drugs or sex was wrong to be showed. I said being IMPLIED and explicitly showing rape scenes are to different things. Learn how to read. You don’t need such graphic scenes to understand what she went through there are at points where I do agree it needs to be a bit more graphic for viewers who are slow to understand a situation but not to the point where it’s fucking obvious she is being raped. Killing Stalking is also an example of at what point of sexual abuse and rape can still be shown explicitly. They didn’t have to sexualize everything in ever chapter. Saki in this case has no break of sexual abuse because each chapter has explicit sex. Was it so necessary to make Maki faces into what called “ahegeo” meaning exaggerated faces during sex? Her facial expressions were so unnecessary it just looked like she enjoyed it when in reality a victim like Saki would feel like shit and dirty inside. There is no point of this argument it’s not bringing us to anywhere and this is just being repetitive. I apologize if I was being too harsh or rude I just get mad when I see people enjoy these types of manga for sexual desire. At first I didn’t know this manga was about sexual abuse or rape because I just saw some people recommend it and I thought it was about Saki living through the hardships of living the teenager life where you can’t fit in no matter how much you change because I wanted to relate to the manga and mc. After I read it I started to do some research and saw in the community how many people enjoyed this as pornography if I knew it what the manga was from the beginning then I wouldn’t of read it.

Necessary or not, it’s a hentai til the end. I agree it’s very detailed but the author drew it that way to show how the world doesn’t hold back on its cruelty. It may have gone too far in those scenes, but there really are people who are going through the exact same thing. If he’s going to portray a prostitudes life in a hentai, might as well go all the way through.

From what you’re saying, I think you’ve misunderstood: I don’t like this manga for its sex scenes. I dislike this manga a lot cause even the amount of time I prepared myself to read this, it was so unexpected, dark and fucked up. The reason I like it was because it taught me something. Which was to be yourself and don’t let the influence of other people sway you as every choice in your life counts. That’s what I considered educational from this.
The people who fapped to this or actually liked this for its pornography are fucked up.
