can anyone drop a short summary of the story, I dropped this a long time ago and I wanna know if it's worth reading it again.

depends on where you dropped... and if you like being in pain or not
*****i'm gonna do a shitty recap, so spoiler warning for y'all******
the story starts off with dooshik and jooha in a small town -- d finds out that j is basically selling his body to pay off debt, classic plot except when he cums, it's pearls -- d at first wants to take advantage of this but falls for j and wants to save him -- more things happen, they run away together (from the person j is indebted to) and just when things are happy, SHIT HITS THE FAN AND WE ARE IN PAIN -- lots of SA and r***, j is abused a LOT, like a lot a lot and i still haven't recovered from that, d saves him again but then also is kind of the cause of someone else getting abused (which is fucked up and i can't forget it, he was like the greenest green flag before that and now i have mixed feelings) -- one thing leads to another and the person who j is indebted to kidnaps j and more SA takes place, d rescues him and the other guy gets killed but at the cost of j getting hurt and losing his memories -- d and j stay together while j is recovering (i won't spoil the very end bc it is painful) -- we are currently in the side stories which are in j's perspective in the time after he loses his memories but before the very end..
like i said, i'm still in pain -- this story has a lot of high highs and very low LOWS. it's your choice whether you want to read bc it's way more than i just described it.
the art is phenomenal and gets better towards the end but buckle in for a dark plot -- the author described the first half of the story being less dark and more fun but then the second part is less fun and more dark.
i won't say you have to read it, but if you choose to, good luck.

it'll crush me if their plans don't go as they wish.. making future plans is a bad sign, not just because they may not be true but because they give hope and it hurts more than anything when you're no longer with that person and you know the plans you were so excited for would never happen. it's the calm before the storm, im afraid, and her confessing her love for him so early can only make me believe that they don't have that much time to spend together.. ahh, honestly this is painful chat, I don't wanna see the ending.

what's funny to me it's that I was very quick to judge TJ from the start, thinking this will be your average love triangle with the toxic ex and the superhero winning the mc over.. but it turns out this is way more complex and the story isn't just rainbows and gays, villains and yaluza. we're not following Ian's path here, they're all important and they're all having their individual struggles and sufferings and pros and cons. I couldn't care less who's the endgame, this ain't about this anymore, it could end up with them all being all by themselves, it's not going to be an issue because by the end we will have covered a lot of their misunderstandings and they'll find something better than one's love, self-acceptance and healing, which is needed. I will probably just wait for this to be completed to reread everything properly, but honestly this is already way better than what I was expecting and the author does know what they're doing, I believe.
"as long as we are friends, this evil is my god" COLD.
