I think he did the right thing.
They should break up, he needs to learn not to rely on anybody in a relationship, he needs to be independent first and then start a relationship.
It's unhealthy to do whatever ur partner tells you to just because u're reliant on them.
And the seme could've been a little note considerate when breaking up, but I think he did it so suddenly cuz of the memories he has from his brother constantly hurting his partner and he absolutely didn't want to do the same to the uke so ╮(￣▽￣)╭
