The novel was a masterpiece and reading this now again as a manga is just as hilarious tho it gets confusing sometimes - that's why I recommend everyone to check out the novel, actually the story is more than just comedy plot, it hides a deep and educative meaning

How do I say it... They were very ill fated and didn't even end up together (unlike the previous lives, they were chasing one another and trying to be together despite anything else) but in this 3rd life due to fate and responsibilities they didn't even have that option to choose one another
