I'd say it's still worth exploring the rest of the FT universe but the comeback of Oracion Seis/Sechs and Zero is just ridiculous pfft

Yess, another killing stalking!!
In my opinion, there should be a lot yaoi like this. The plot isnt boring or predictable.

Well technically speaking for the genre this type of mind plays between a serial killer and the main character is common.

But what makes this story interesting is :1- combined BL genre
2- it's a comic
3- has an interesting plot device using the blind cover.
3- the art is pretty amazing

I know right?
And you're right, the art is gorgeous. Not saying its perfect but its beautiful in it own ways (what the hell am i talking about?)

And like i was saying, if shounen/shoujo manga can have interesting plot, why dont use it for yaoi.

What happened with killing stalking disaster??

The emo (I shouldn't really call them emo, since it's an insult to what an emo is, but I have no other term since they think themselves edge and emo) the emo kids who read KS, started to romanticize the story and wanted to give both characters a happy ending where they're in love. And there's a lot of fanfics/fan art about this.

They started to justify the killing and abuse Sangwoo did to Baum. And that both of them had really terrible lives. They even rooted for the killing of the teenage singer and justified it because of her one comment about Baum.......


It reached a point where the author herself said that the story IS NOT ROMANTIC and she said in no way the relationship between Sangwoo and Baum is healthy or anything.


Besides,
1- Sangwoo is not Gay, and will never be. The story applies realism concepts. And people don't flip between Gay and Straight and Bi. He even admitted that he's not gay. And didn't want to suck or pleasure Baum.

2- Sangwoo developed a mental attachment and obsession to Baum, because of his mother complexity. He even had Baum wear his mom's clothes. WTF, where's the romance in that?

3- He was going to kill Baum in the last chapters, 100% if he wasn't stopped, Baum would have been killed.

4- He muttered Baum name in the hospital because of his obsession or he believed "he" loved him. But again, he's mentally ill, a serial killer, had a rough childhood, etc, etc... That is not love, not romantic, not pretty.


5-Also, I Don't want to talk about Baum, like that's whole more 3-5 points other than the top 4.


And then those emo kids would say, it's fiction, blah blah blah,,,,,, yes it's ficition... but fiction inherently reflects the human values and culture. Normalizing something in fiction that is extremely dangerous will have tremendous outcomes. For example, the US before the age of the internet access to everyone:

1- The media normalized women as sexual things, and lower than men in status.
2- The media normalized Islamic religion as terrorism.
3- The media normalized black people as being inferior to white people
4- The media insulted the asian culture


And even with the vast technological access we have today. These problems still exists nowadays because they have been rooted into the culture.

Another thing currently in Asian country like Korea and Japan, even though the frown upon sex and porn industry.... The abuse, rape, sexual assault, creeps, rates are on the rise in these two countries and one of the key players in this is the normalization of these stuff in their media and culture (not just BL stories).


People take these stuff way more lightly, than they should.

It's one thing to write about rape and assault (like KS)
And another thing to romanticizes these behaviors (like 90% of BL stories)


Just another quick example, a girl few days ago on another manhwa started to justify the Seme forcing the uke into painful sex with toys and that it is not rape because he's his boyfriend.....

No honey, you can be still raped by your boyfriend, friend, husband, etc

And then she went to say, that rape is only when there's penetration....

No honey, that's not how rape and sexual assault works.

And then she went to say, that the uke agreed to the toys in the start....

Yeah honey, he agreed in the start, but the seme started to take it too seriously and over did his boundaries to the point where the uke started to beg and beg that he wants to stop. Even if he agreed in the beginning, it is FUCKING allowed to say No in the middle of the act or wanting to stop, if your partner refused to stop... it is RAPE from then.


What's most painful about the story, is that it actually finished and it revolved around the uke being raped and abused by someone, until the seme came to his rescue. And the seme was one of the best characters ever written (he was 3D in personality, didn't push boundaries, made sure not to get involved in romantic drama, made sure his partner is safe and happy, took care of him, was sooo fucking afraid to have sex with the uke [the uke was raped again before the end, and seme was there to save him] so after the rape, the seme was too afraid to sleep with the uke, because he feared the uke will remember the rape incident. Until the uke talked it out with him and said he was okay now.)

So the story ended on a high note,,,,, then came the extra... Which I believe is just the author fantasizing about toxic shit.

For no fucking sense (And against the own seme character) he got mad because the uke came from a toy, and then forced him to have sex with the toys more, and shoved his dick with a vibrator into the uke. Who started to beg him to stop, he doesn't want this, it hurts, please

Where's the seme from the original story??? THE FUCK HAPPENED TO THE CHARACTER???




So yeah... I talked a lot... it's just rape is a very sensitive topic, and I hate people treating it so lightly. But not to the point where I wish they'd be raped or abused. Because of how serious those things can harm someone...
