aff..i have an older sister who was good in everything she does and people always tend to compare us everytime..but whenver they did..i will do exactly the opposite of how my sister done things the way she did (not in a bad way though)..and i slap them people in their face that "i am not my sister" thus you cant expect me to do the things like her..
well i grow up confident with my own abilities not envying my sister for i have my own ways on how to shine..and i have a very good relationship with my sister..

I have an older cousin who my grandmother used to always compare me to.
I never held anythinagajnst my cousin though, but it does make you feel crappy. I just stopped being around my grandmother since she was just rude all the time. Solved my problem!
I think that's kind of what the youngest brother did, but everyone wanted the mc to take over the family business, so he probably felt more pressure in that area.
(even though I say all that, I was hoping he would leave and let the oldest brother inherit, and let the mc have a career he like! That's my version of a happy ending!
But I've never been the kind of person who's motivated to do things just because people want me to or it's expected of me...)
