What saddens me the most is the misunderstanding between Jiang FengMian and Madam Yu... they really do love each other but it was not expressed very well because of the misunderstanding. In th novel the reason why Zidian obeyed Jiang FengMian was because Madam Yu's final order before handing it over to Jian Cheng was for Zidian to deactivate itself when the have reached a safe place, and to Madam Yu, Jiang FengMian was someone she trusts and someone she consider to be safe and secure with... It's been a long time since I finished with the novel so I might have gotten a few things wrong... but this is undeniably one of the most heartbreaking scenes... ╥﹏╥
