Ppl in the cmts crying but all I feel is anger and irritation. I hate when it shows seme doing the deed with others while uke stays celibate during separations. I made it to the beginning of ch 3 when I thought uke was staying with a boyfriend/sex friend that kicked him out but it turns out uke couldn’t go through with it and left.
Idk if uke was entirely celibate for the 7 yrs they were broken up or if it was explained more in later chapters but the seme sure had his needs met. I hate when authors make the uke hung up on the seme, can’t get into new relationships, unable to be intimate, etc while they make the semes okay with sleeping around and getting into relationships but “they still love the uke” so it’s okay… puhlease. I’d prefer it if the uke slept around while missing the seme, and the seme staying celibate while missing the uke

And Ik I might get horrified gasps when I cmt this, but uke having a miscarriage is lowkey a good thing. He became pregnant via rape, and if that baby was born, no matter how loved it is, it would still feel hurt knowing their dad raped their other dad and that is how they came to be. A baby made and born from love is best. I really hope uke smacks the sense into seme next chapter and this new problem is resolved asap.
I hope this doesnt become the next drama arc the author plotted up to drag out this bl. I can already imagine it, seme can’t forgive himself, disregards uke once again, leaves without saying anything, time skip of a couple years, seme has been secretly stalking uke, uke is somewhat happy, they reunite somehow, get back together, have a baby, “happy” ending. Ugh just imagining this plot line pisses me off. Hope I’m 100% wrong….
Ugh I HATE memory loss/amnesia arcs, even more so when the memories never come back and then they decide to restart, or worse, move on from eachother. Istg this better not happen, uke better regain his memories or I’ll be devastated id cry forever if my beloved forgot me

Koreans (and most asians) and their undying loyalty and respect to their parents or elders no matter what is crazy. I’m Asian-American and share those values too but my American half will nvr allow me to accept abuse from my parents and still kiss their ass just bc we blood.
Uke was way too kind to his pos murderous father who got left off too easy just bc they were related. And what was the point in author making them be apart for 4 yrs? Those time skips were sooo unnecessary. Main couple was exhausting to read that’s y I dropped but picked up again bc I only had to read 9 more chapters until completion so might as well. Father arc lasted entirely too long, and made a spectacular read mid. The side couple is cute asf though and uke doesn’t seem insufferable, and who can resist a protective seme hope there are side stories to redeem this read in my mind

Nah dropped at ch 2. I checked out after finding out they have a 17 yr age gap.
This back and forth of “should I, should I not” flirting hasn’t even been long yet I feel tired of it already. He likes her, she likes him, he’s ready to take the relationship further, she hesitates and refuses bc of their power dynamic it’s all so frustrating.
What she feels and thinks is valid bc at the end of the day, he is her boss and if their relationship turns shit, her career will be compromised, while his career will be alright. BUT I feel like the fl should have stronger resolve, stop thinking about him as a romantic object, blush at the littlest things, and most importantly, don’t give in to the flirting. If she returns his advances in a moment of weakness bc of his face or kind mannerisms, and turn around the next day to shit on his feelings bc of her reasons then she is stringing him along in her cruel game. It happened once, now he’s lying it on thick ab wanting her, so her resolve better be steel, no matter how annoying it is for us readers to see their relationship not progress bc I can’t stand a wishy washy fl.
Honestly, her reasons are valid for not wanting to date him, so I don’t see how this relationship can work out, unless she transfers to another company or she gets promoted to a higher position than secretary so their power dynamic isn’t so one sided. But she said she wants to work at the company for a LONGGG time as his secretary so idk…
Mf dropped ch 8. No where was this tagged with drunken intercourse and dubious consent. Now I’m pissed that I wasted my time and this nasty bubbling feeling of irritation is gonna linger for a while. Drunken FIRST TIME intercourse for uke is one of my many fucking pet peeves. 1/5 stars 凸

Even semes father admitted seme is at fault for the RECENT failure on his part that endangered uke… I got so much shit for saying seme should grovel more and that his redemption arc isn’t (good) enough bc it restarted when he didn’t pay of the ukes debt. All semes past attempts at a redeeming himself, were for his past wrongdoings to the uke, this new kidnapping is recent therefore his past redemption arc cancels out.
Seme taking a stabbing is not a COMPLETE “redemption arc” but it’s a start. A full redemption arc is when seme owns up to his mistakes, which I think we’ll see next chapter, make amends which uke does not have to accept but we know he will bc he’s preggers, and all thoughts of “I” or “me” goes out the window and seme should not think about HIS wants and needs but the uke’s, something seme struggles to do, listening to what the uke wants.
At one point they were grandpa and grandson… and if they both have their past memories then wouldn’t they remember their FAMILIAL love, yet in the present they’re ok being romantically involved … idk it’s a lil icky like if I was the seme I couldn’t get hard knowing he was once a baby I oversaw into adulthood, and if I was the uke I couldn’t get hornt knowing seme was a grandpa
I’m reading this for the first time and I could not get past the death of bohyun, hwan, and jaha… like I thought they were lying there unconscious at first, then I thought they were ok but in hiding to recover, THEN I thought they’d be revived somehow with mystical powers but the more I read, I unfortunately realized they were really dead… I can’t get past this tragedy so I skipped straight to the ending and the snake demon is somehow a child?!? And a little part of me hoped the 3 that died would still somehow be alive at the ending
The first time I read this I liked it fairly well but I’m in my rereading binge and hesitate to pick this up again but decided fuck it let’s reread this cute fluff.
The reason I hesitate to reread this is bc I hated the beginning where seme made a fool of uke and hurt him repeatedly and uke being too soft to ever stay really mad at seme. I hate when ukes get made a fool, it breaks my heart seeing the seme in the beginning fooling around with the uke when his emotions weren’t even uncovered. The audacity to get jealous and be possessive when he couldn’t even admit to kissing a guy. Please.
This is a one and done kinda read for me. I could handle it once but on this second read *whew* am I unsatisfied

Dropped ch 8. Really?? A sex tape as collateral?? That’s so stupid, and why does it have to be the uke in the tape? Can’t uke demand a sex tape of seme and some prositute as collateral instead of using himself? Went to cmts to find spoilers but all I read are “baby this” “baby that” and “their necks are huge” I did read someone say uke has 120 sex tapes of himself which pissed me off even more I can’t imagine them to be consensual.
