Started and dropped ch 8. She doesn’t have much rage in her considering all the shit she went through due to her low self esteem and trauma holding her back. Ig it’s realistic but I don’t want realistic, I want her to be so consumed by revenge and wrath that she gets violent hearing mocking towards her, rather than just taking it and cowering. Also, I hate the “I’ve got to sit silent and take the abuse for a while to build up my plan to destroy them” storyline. I want immediate cutthroat consequences that is just enough to put them in their place, so the countdown to their downfall be slow and satisfying.
I used to love the fl bc she was a determined bad bitch but lately she pisses me off. Idc about her, I don’t want to read about her, I want updates on her 3 disciples who was unfairly tortured in an endless sleep of nightmares for a month and we don’t even know what happens to them. She hasn’t even asked about them or visited them since she woke up. Their only crime was missing their master who raised them and suddenly left.
She feels at fault for the duke and Claude’s suffering so she’s dedicating so much time and effort into them, and she also mentions how she feels guilty for her disciples suffering yet never gives them and inch. She raised them since they were kids, she has never shown them her face or her voice, and one day she just left with a simple “you guys are good, you no longer need me, goodbye” like bitch bffr
It’s giving that one ass manhua/hwa “Charlotte and her Disciples” or sum like that where she left them in suffering and loneliness bc she wanted peace yet she had an obligation to watch over them bc they were her responsibility.
Why do these characters pick up emotional dependent and unstable kids only to selfishly leave them???? There was no reason the fl had to conceal everything about her, she was already honest about her spilt persona yet can’t be honest in what she’s trying to do next in helping the duke and his son???

Lmao I thought I was the only one confused on wtf is happening I’m 18 chapters in and I’m so lost on the plot line AND timeline. It jumps from their HS days to their present college days, and it also jumps from their college drinking party to the present like stop with the constant back and forth flashbacks with no notice. And it’s lowkey boring and I don’t feel anything for the characters they fall flat to me which is a shame bc the art is beautiful

Im on ch 44 right after the nitwit ml came to delusions that the fl has actually fallen in love with him so he decided to reject and run away from her making her look like a clown and is still talked about 3 yrs later. Istg ml was better when he kept his mouth shut and was obedient to the fl’s plan. And the fact this misunderstanding has not cleared up after a couple chapters is killing me??? I can’t stand the ml thinking the fl was crazy in love with him and he HAD to reject her for her sake… and it’s not helping that fl constantly blushes when he is even near her like girl get a grip, this man left you high and dry, embarrassed, and a fool for all to see have some dignity. I’m 4 chapters in and not really feeling it bc I can sense the fl is too nice aka will forgive all those who abused and belittled her, which is an ass move. I can’t judge too much on the story since I barely read it, but you’d think in her past 14 miserable lives, in one of them she starts pulling her pants up and better her life. Unless she’s tried and failed a couple times and is at her current suicidal mentality, which I’m hoping is the case. If not, she’s not too bright.
I’m on ch 50 and honestly all the snow piling lies and hidden identity are so unnecessary. I didn’t think it’d last so long just come out with it already. I don’t see a reason why she can’t just be honest. “Hey I’m strong, I’m the sword master, let me show you my strength, I have some responsibilities back home as a swords master that we should discuss”
