I've read the raws before and nah they didn't boombayah here because of the ruckus outside of their room when the man (i forgot his name) who owns the snake liquor is trying to retrieve back his liquor from abel, they were disturbed in the middle of their business to the point that the prince got angry and broke the door
So just started the side stories and it’s so shit??? This other Valeta was “tormented and violated” aka raped by the crown prine/king, and wants to die, only to be summoned by a crazy alternate ml who ends up raping her too… and I see some cmts saying she “consented” bc she agreed to the deal that he’ll kill her if she “sleeps” with him. If it’s coerced then it’s rape. And if she said, no, what was he gonna do? Keep her locked up? She wants to die, so ofc she has no choice but to agree to the bs deal.
I don’t know what happens later in the side stories for some of y’all to get frustrated with her, but 1-2 chapters into the sides, she’s a clear victim of a loser.
He spared a rapist (yknow he was with how he acted drunk that’s he’s assaulted a few women) and an attempted murderer, if he wasn’t already… Ik y’all in the cmts justifying Abel’s decision bc of his background, but DAMN does it leave a bad taste in my mouth to see a holy moly character. Hope Kara’s deals with him in secret.
I think spared is better. He'll suffer more alive. He'll be forced to face the consequences of his actions every single day. The moment he was spared, he's already sealed his fate for the constant torment in his lifetime. The ML's definitely going to make sure of it.
If it makes you feel any better, the only reason it feels out of place is cause in the novel Karas killed a BUNCH of the people on board, including the people he spoke with in the earlier chapters, so like yeah they definitely cut out a lot of the gore that was in the novel
Abel doesn't want him to kill the hostage that the man is holding on to. Karas is willing to kill the hostage without issue just because they are in the way and that's who Abel is comparing to an innocent bug.
Abel sees he doesn't care about the hostages getting killed once the first one gets hurt and is stopping him before he ends up killing the second hostage.
In the novel, Karas kills MULTIPLE hostages that aren't even being used as shields to prove a point, including the first one who is only hurt in this version.
They extremely toned down what he does he this chapter.
I do like that Abel acted much quicker to stop him in this though.

Sorry my bad, slight correction. In the novel Karas doesn't kill the first hostage the fake is holding onto....he just turns away goes straight to the other people and kills them one by one using them as his own hostages.
He tells the fake to kill the hostage he has or "otherwise these people will die because of you." And then Abel stops him from killing all of the innocent people on board, comparing them to the bug, and explaining how they did nothing wrong.
For those fickle pickles out there like me who debated on reading this solely for the fact that seme married a women and worried if he had ~relations~ with her, I’m happy to announce he did not! also this is my second attempt at reading this bc I saw a cute clip of ml being jealous on tiktok (≧∀≦) I vividly remember trying to read this back when it had like 20 chapters max and could not make it very far bc I constantly got frustrated with the silly misunderstandings, which Ik are supposed to be comedic, but why was I getting actually heated?? Anyways I made it further this time, ch 29, and again the same silly misunderstandings are getting to me… I just wanna know- does the misunderstanding of ml thinking fl has a crush on someone else last long and does the black dog secret come out soon???

Y’all 2 chapters in where she was JUST assassinated and ml said “we’re going to war” I connected the dots asap and went straight to the cmts for confirmation bc I can’t do BS. The chill look on the brothers face sending her to an enemy marriage was all I needed to see that he was fishy. I read all 18 pages of cmts and the spoilers
And what I can conclude is the fl is stupid in the beginning to be so easily influenced by her brother in her 2nd life who she knew killed her when she lingered as a spirit for a DECADE (Gahdayum that sounds like hell)
Ppl defended her saying it’s her brother who she’s know her entire life and can’t just forget it so easily and that she deeply cares ab the ppl in her country so she’s willing to be his loser if it meant protecting the ppl.
What I have to say to that is FUCKKKK NOOOO she spent 10 yrs observing the situation and still can’t cut family ties?? I wouldve cried and wallowed in despair for like 2 yrs max then start bossing up to kill the little shit.
And I totally understand her fear of the ml, she witnessed him killing her younger brother and father, and that’s not easy to forget. Hell, I’m surprised romance even occurred bc I could not love my family’s killer, no matter their reason or cause.
From the spoilers, fl should’ve feared both her brother and ml, yet in the beginning at least, she’s the willing fool to her brothers scheme and harbors estranged thoughts on the ml being the main reason her family and people met their downfall when the root cause was the brother.
I’m not a fan of the fl, but do understand it’s bc this adaptation is different than the novel which leaves out crucial details which makes her seem like a naive idiot.
I heard her character development happens FAST but idk in which chapter bc I want to skip the headache…
Oki the ml did not kill the lil bro and father DIRECTLY. The just got killed in the war (collateral damage) and that’s just bound to happen in war. Plus I doubt he knew if they were all in on it or not when it came to the fl’s assassination. Plus he pretty much lost his mind and I can’t rlly blame him when he became the emperor FOR HER and she is his reason to live. All that mattered to him was the fl (he doesn’t know the rest of her family like that), and he knows that Arcaea was the one who assassinated her so they must pay it back in blood.

Oh geez I remember reading this, but the plot vanished from my mind and after seeing a cute clip on tiktok, decided to reread but omg I remember now. I remember how uke’s self respect was below ground level like stand up. So frustrating seeing him be weak to seme and going back to him again and again after the break up
The blondie in the beginning was damn insufferable. My god 5 chapters in, left and right, he’s disrespectful as shit for someone on the run and needs to stay hidden. He needs to be quiet and sit still if he’s so damn afraid of being caught and not piss off his only hope of survival. First, he wouldn’t stop touching the black hair dude when he said stop, he rummaged through his stuff trying on his earrings when he said not to look around, THEN he kisses him without consent, AND has the audacity to be surprised when he gets mad like… also him admitting to his bs doesn’t make him any more relatable.
