That is not the case...like at all. The traumatic past fs but nothing was mentioned abt sexual abuse, they barely even mention the ukes past. They went into it in one chapter close to the end and just left it at that. The chasing arc wasn't rly an arc more like concepts of one. Everything else on that list is either exaggerated or just straight up didn't happen.
While it's not purely cute and fluffy it's not agnsty either it does have around a 8 chapters misunderstanding but the manhwa toned down the original novel quite a lot from what the comments say

It was never hinted at nor shown. I've read the whole thing and ur comment is the first time I've ever heard about that. You must have heard a novel spoiler. The manhwa isn't like that..like..at all. The og novel was quite angsty but the manhwa is pretty mild no angst, not up until the end but that was solved in like the next chap. There is no rape or forced sex either and the uke/mc is pretty tolerable and competent (at least in my opinion he is).
This went from good to bad to boring real fast. She’s a physically strong character sure, but not politically savvy so watching her get bested by the empress and yulika of all ppl sucked when they made her seem more politically capable than she is.
Can’t say I love seeing a desperate chasing uke, but I don’t regret reading this it’s cute. Won’t read another chasing uke tho bc hell no the seme’s gotta be the desperate one for it to be satisfying. And seme never said he loved uke like bruh they can’t show that in the extras???

I read this a yr and a half ago, stopped at ch 42 bc of that white haired loser who has a crush on seme irritating me, decided to pick this up again and read the side stories to see what’s up, and then just picked up right where I left off and omg uke has a condition called “gotta-bottle-up-everything-and-make-ppl-who-love-me-depressed-itis” he’s so frigging frustrating with his thought process. Dont come for me, he admits it himself that he’s frustrating aka author made him like that on purpose, but damn is it an eye roll everytime he tries to put others first at his expense, but doesn’t realize he’s actually hurting everyone more. Dropped fs this time ch64.
On ch 30 and wow it takes a lot for me to tolerate Hyoseop with how stubborn and lowkey hypocritical he his. When someone (Adante) tells you no, then it’s a no, don’t fight it, force it, beg for it like pls have some self respect. Adante stated multiple times he does not like guiding yet Hyoseop pushes for it basically every chapter and he even begged to sucked him off too on that beach dungeon chapter? Like I smacked my head and had to run a lap to wear off the cringe. He himself has set boundaries for how far he’ll guide, yet can’t respect andantes boundaries. I get he has a saviors complex from his trauma but still not an excuse. And now Hyoseop has an unrealized crush on Adante and is making a fool of himself nonstop like it’s so bad for my heart to see a foolish uke when I prefer a foolish seme. I’m staying bc I’ve read Adante becomes foolish later and can’t wait to see it!!!
