Yeah an in the most recent flash back he kind of gave off the same vibe, plus the build and what else could see of him looked the same as MC. I’m guessing it was another version of himself that went back in the past
im thinking what if its a cycle? every time the "him" jn the future which travels back to the past fails to change the future, the him in that future gets sent back to the past so the pattern repeats, like he'll have to try again to change the future.
My personal theory is that the older brother is the person the dad was supposed to meet, the informer his friend would’ve introduced him. But he died so MC took over his identity and pretended to be him.
It makes sense cus the older brother never appeared again in original Timeline either and we know he wanted to get the MC out of the orphanage, maybe he died trying to betray the organisation
