Does anyone else think they might’ve given them his sight back Naruto style like how they swap?… I feel like there so much more to it

From the moment the seme said “what,” on the next panel where the uke asks the question has a purplish dream pattern in the background then the purple dissipates on the panel where the seems says he’s spacing out.. I honestly think the uke’s fear of the seme rejecting and gaslighting him (again cause we know he’s a serial offender) got the worst of him to he point he had a panic attack or got too emotionally overwhelmed and it got to him. This is just my assumption cause the way the seme replies just feels out of the left field… but real talk how you gonna see your SO freak out and just smile and hold them like nothing’s wrongggg (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
Well, you see I think before the “what” and after the “spacing out” are real events. I feel like what’s in between that (blacken out behind the panels) is all in the uke’s head because like you said he got trauma.
So the hugging and comforting makes sense to me.
