Aaaaahhh
I think Kunihiko only went out with girls to hide the fact that he liked Haru. He wasnt intentionally being an asshole, he just didn't know what to do since it was his first time liking someone.
Plus Haru blatantly admired him and mistook love for admiration. I mean at first he wanted to have a girlfriend, wanted to pretend the kiss never happened (at that time I think Kunihiko was about to confess), and was even shocked two guys could date lol. So I think Haru was just ignorant about these things and so Kunihiko didnt have the confidence to confess. Kunihiko did bring up dating but Haru couldnt even comprehend it as nothing but a joke. And afterwards he didnt understand why Kunihiko was upset. To be fair I think Haru must've thought that it was impossible for someone like Kunihiko, who he thinks is out of his league and is a man to boot, to like him so he was bound to misunderstand lol.
Im glad Haru finally realized his feelings and Kunihiko was able to confess. Im excited for the extras ヾ(☆▽☆)
The transitions were weird like small time skips (Dan was a rejected stalker one chapter, fuck buddy in the next, and then boyfriend out of nowhere lol) though I still enjoyed this manga
Something about Hikari's internal monologue while standing in the middle of a crowd gave me a really nice feeling. Its kind of relatable I guess?
I didnt realize people were hating on him until I saw the comments lol. He was harsh on Dan at first but neither one of them were in their right minds when they mated. You cant really say it was entirely consensual, so of course he'd take back something he'd decided on when he was in heat. And they just met so you cant expect a guy to just accept getting married after one night of sex lol.
Personally I like how they didn't get into a serious relationship right away. Hikari had to realize that he had to let go of some things to pursue new goals in life. He had to make a choice between his career and his relationship with Dan. If you think about it, his career was where he felt he belonged, something he's had much longer. His relationship with Dan was still pretty tentative and from his experience he knows relationships dont always last. So it was understandable that he initially chose his career. Im glad Dan was pretty understanding and patient. He was just what Hikari needed. Someone devoted and loyal, someone who he enjoys being with enough to forget about superficial ideals.
Im glad they were able to get together and have a new start. Its not a perfect manga but 5/5 lol
I feel the plot rushed at the end. The whole "take me back" and "you complete me" moment felt so odd. I like this couple too and Hikari was actually true to his character. And Dan being like, "Of course I'll take you back. I've been waiting for you" response was odd, even when he immediately wanted to take responsibility when they became mates. I wanted to see more and maybe some development before they got married. How did they work out things? Does Hikari ever go back to his hairdresser and say, "you know what, I think that stuff you were congratulating me on that I said I didn't want wasn't total bunk."
Satomaru-sensei seems to be cut short more than once.
Tru, pacing was really off for the story lol. It was very Hikari centered so we didnt really get to delve much as much into Dan's personality. Maybe he's just odd like that? Lol
I wish we got to see more of how their relationship developed too
