Lowkey this feels homophobic, it reminds of that other lame webtoon I dropped, I understand it's a response to bl's often misogynistic tropes but I wish it was done with more subtlety idk how to explain.

idk man i think it's a bit wild to think that way....they're set up in the exact same way as a ton of straight villainous couples & pulling the same shit to the legit wife so....how on earth is this homophobic? would you be saying something like this in those? "this is very cisphobic" or some shit?? i mean it's actually not at all homophobic in my view because they're portraying them as being the exact same trash; sexual orientation doesn't matter - trash is trash sort of thing. like....idek how to word this any more but sexual orientation doesn't determine personality. i think i can get your point of not wanting to see gay couples as only the villains and i also have yet to see a "female isekai'd into bl novel" setting where they aren't but then....that's not to say they don't exist. (and there's a certain manga that at first seems that way but turns out to be deeper than that.) so idk; try not to think of it as homophobic but as the same as all the other ones i guess

See here is the problem. Why cant we just view relationship as relationship and not divide it into categorize based on sex or gender. It is not a response to anything. It is merely a manhwa that describe the sometimes complex relationships human have. If anything it makes us see the realistic side of Gay relationship. Not all gay relationship are bounded in binaries. There are loving, abusive, possessive, obsessive, coerced. It can be filled with love. It can be filled with distrust and jealousy. Why cant we just portray what can happened. This just happened to be a gay couple who has no regard to this queen's suffering because they were too blinded with their love. Only a stupid person would believe that gay couple behave as such. Most of us know this is for plot reasons. Why bring this up? Hetero portrayed badly in BL sometimes too...but most dont say a fucking thing. So dont think too much.

Why do Japanese bl gets such low ratings compared to bl webtoons? Is it because the sex scenes aren't explicit enough? Idgi

This question has been on my mind ever since I started reading korean or even chinese bl comics. As far as I can see it, Japan BL tends to have very short chapters and story-wise some of it are kind of farfetched or has abrupt story plot. Korean BL manhwas on the other hand are majority outstanding in terms of it's story. Like I can really see that there's certainly a plot that's going on and you as the reader has to guess about it. It also evokes different kinds of emotions. In a nutsell, I think in a way you could say that majority but not all of the BL manhwas aren't cliche compared to Japan's BL mangas. This is not to say that Japan's bl aren't good since I started reading bl through mangas itself like some of the awesome mangas that I will forever like are Koisuru bokun, Yuuutsu na Asa, Castle mango and many more before growing tired of it and changing to webtoons but the latter itself has a refreshing sense of storyline that gives readers a sense of satisfaction after reading every chapter. At the end though, it depends on your preference. In my case, if I like short and cheesy stories I go to Japanese BLs but I like to read those long and plot with porn stuffs I head over to manhwas.
yuri looks so beautiful, i can't wait to see her interact with melissa <3
