i'd be REALLY surprised if jooin ends up with cain, plot has been predictable so far, so it'd be great if the author could change things up a little but lbr i don't see that happening.

I really like this story and I don't think it's too fast paced?? I guess I'm really used to the quick-paced 1 volume plot that BL does, I really don't mind anymore? Like I usually get frustrated with angst and drama so I love it when things don't drag.

Hiroto has the patience of a saint, glad he stuck around for Chikage because Chikage suffered a lot and deserved to be saved. Also glad that there's a fluffy sequel, that book literally was 96% angst, so the ending didn't feel very rewarding/satisfying, I totally feel for the ppl who worked on that series.

... ppl shouldn't translate if they can't understand the original language (whether it's japanese, chinese, korean, russian, etc) hopefully a good scanlation team notices that this translation is a hot mess and picks it up later.
thankfully i bought every single issue of be boy magazine just for this series because i'm a huge ogeretsu fan. as usual my only concern with her is whether or not we'll get a tankoubon release soon... or not at all (still waiting on koi new town and lonely to organdy)
but isnt it better to at least something to read than nothing at all? personally im very thankful to this translator bc they spent their time doing all of this for ppl to read.

I’m a native Russian speaker, who also lived in an English speaking country for a while, so I’m very well versed in both languages I would say. I also consulted another translator and we both had no idea. Since I enjoyed reading this I wanted to share.
Your opinion is of course still your opinion, but you must also understand that I, like any other human being, dislike criticism for something I worked on for a very long time (even if necessary). Also I would be fine with the original scanlation replacing my translation.
My rant has literally no point, but I would be pleased if you reached out to me, to tell me which sentences are unsatisfactory.

A bit late for the reply but don't mind me ahah tbh Ogeretsu is one of my fave BL author so I just want her work to be done justice, but I think it's cool that you took it upon yourself to make the work available for more ppl! also I think scanlation is about experience and the more you do it, the better you'll get I'm sure.

also idk if it's only me, but like.... when i read bl and there's dub-con from the get-go i like... brace myself and read it and sometimes i like it, sometimes i don't. but then when a series starts with relatively no dubcon/noncon/rape and then it comes up later on with a couple i got attached to, i'm a lot more disappointed/disgusted and i legit feel sad :( it's such a huge let-down.
