Is this super popular in other countries/ other platforms because I have no idea how it’s making money with being such a big project and so few people sticking with it until the end. It’s hardly on legal platforms so I’m just baffled with the artists dedication when their skills could be used to just mass produce shorter stories like other artists do. Like I heard the novel is up to a thousand chapters and it’s still going?? Not hating bc I like this a lot but..
Not sure about the current novel but from what I remember when the webtoon adaptation came out (2019), the novel was already over. Author then proceeded to make 50 chapters of side stories Doesn't seem like they can bring themselves to put a stone on this one and move to a new project/work.
Tbh in my opinion it could be worst haha like Men of the Harem which is about 1000 chapters (still going).
About the chapters the numbers may look big but (I read some of the novel up to 260+ chapters), they are extremely short and slow phase. Like a 30 minute real time dialogue could take 3-6 chapters. It is very slow phased...
Y'know the fun part; the webtoon already shorten the novel and it still feel super slow
If the art is going downhill and the plot sucks… why would people still read this?
