Keep in mind that they are about 25 and did have an actual healthy childhood. I think this is why everyone is upset. Because the twins know better and what to do if they are in a sticky situation, yet they show none of that currently.

The royals are being dumb yes, but if you were in an abusive place and a stranger showed you kindness in a place that normally everyone doesn't. I would find that at least a little bit suspicious and question them until they have gained my trust. Which the twins are NOT doing.....

Technically, they still mentally 17 as their mentality are stunted in this world. How much can you mature when you're trapped inside a room as a child? And they're probably busy trying to stay alive under their mother's abuse. Your mental age increases when you gain experience and knowledge, which they obviously didn't because of how they are treated.

Think about this. They died as 17 year olds, reborn into a neglected/abusive family (mother), and after being "rescued", they are kept in the dark about their mother, the reason why they were abandoned with her, and why they spent their childhood in such terrible conditions. Then there's these shady men who comes into their lives, who obviously (to us) have bad intentions. But for them, these men are providing them INFO on what they want to know. Why they and their mother was cast aside and such. Again, they have not matured at all and have clearly not adapted to the world they were born into (no thanks to their mother) so it's obvious that they might just listen to these men. Because again, I repeat, they get INFO from them when their supposedly caring family still choose to hide things from them when they're not even subtle about it. Also who in the right mind would trust the same family that abandoned them with an abuser?

So you're saying that a pair of children under the age of 7 would be able to fight back against the person in charge of the house, a full grown adult, and her groups of servants, another group of full grown adults who would obviously listen to their master.

And no, they can't get out of this shitty situation they're forced into without info btw. They're literal children physically, there's only so much they can do even if their brains are working.
