the art in ch13 looked kind of off in some parts like noticeably with the sister and her friends and when I tried to compare it to a different chapter like ch1 it really does look like the lines were way lighter. same artist though right?

it's completely possible for readers to enjoy a story with an arrogant rude and self important male lead. I've seen so many manga(hua/hwa)and webtoons with such male leads. It seems to be a standard template. Those who rise above them are memorable.

More than likely double standards but I'm not as into bitchy female leads unless they have a reason to like fighting back but in this case it just feels like open hostility from the start from Edith.
Like yeah she would be pissed to find out her dad the emperor cheated and gave a new half brother for the throne+non-blood related sister but with her being so "prideful", you would think she would try to keep up better appearances that the royal family wasn't as uncouth to leave an illegitimate princess to further ruin the royal reputation and instead have the minimal necessities (decent tutors for high society, not super outdated fashion, etc.)
But yeah you're totally right on there already being tons of rude MLs who are just considered tsundere/kuudere or something till their heart opens up and we then we accept them with open arms lol ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄
