read what was available here and I like the idea of revenge and love lol but I found out this is a spin off of the shield hero's story apparently, anyone know how much more this deviates from the original story? (like if the ending for spear hero's story relates or is the same as the shield hero's?)
It's completely different from the original. The world and concepts are the same and all, so are the characters, but the plot line is crazy weird, because the spear hero has gone back in time, with his prior knowledge, and tried to change it. The original is much better.

while the original is certainly better, it's only because it has a more serious and better plotline.
this spinoff is best read after you finish the original one. sort of a what if situation, more or less.
nevertheless, this spinoff is really fantastic and refreshing especially after you get to know the characters in the original

Kae and Mutsumi
Our lovers come to an understanding, Mutsumi proposes to Kae, they have a short bed scene.
Mutsumi graduates and Kae studies hard to go to the same college as senpai and a quick timelapse showing her classmate's last year before graduating.
Kae finally meets senpai again and he welcomes her.
Time skip 7 years, it's Kae and Mutsumi's wedding, old friends are re-united but to the surprise of the group, Kae has gained weight again!
?Kae confessed that having an increased appetite lately, I think she confesses that Mutsumi and her are expecting a child!
Happy group shot of our lovely cast, and now skip a few more years, a child is confused about the wedding photo and wonders who the bride is and the father tells his son that lady is mama to the shock of the child.~
