Not a spoiler per say, but a guess about the ending plot...
Judging by the time kirishima was on the phone with yoshinos grandfather makes me believe the whole engagement thing is to quell a gang upset that may or may not be linked to yoshino's father's death and keep yoshino out of harms way, while simultaneously having a bodyguard of sorts around her at all times. Maybe kirishima genuinely has a thing for yoshino in his weird netorare shit way--but perhaps he's also additionally being extra obsessive and borderline stalking her because he promised to protect her as a part of that ploy. Kirishima def has some trashy behavior (as we all know from the cheating, lying, etc), but I also think he doesn't see being with yoshino as a legitimate partner, because maybe to him he doesn't think it will ever happen, and that when a year is up of yoshino living in Tokyo it spells an end to their companionship or whatever you call what they have now. In a way Yoshino and Kirishima are opponents warring it out for truth underneath facades, and spending time with each other they admit they're different from being in yakuza families despite however much they both try to act/be normal for others/themselves. I would like to think they're counterparts for each other, and then when shit hits the fan, they either team up, fight, and learn a lot from each other and part as friends (and perhaps she ends up with shouma, idk), quelling an impending war--or something durastic changes and they get together. Just a guess, in no way am I guessing the whole plot, just a fraction of the pie!
Love this series, and the authors work in general--great character and world designs, thoughtful character and world building, great art/art style, interesting plots, sexy scenes, genre breaking BL, it's got it all! I also understand that action scenes can be hard to clean and work with so I also appreciate all the work that the scan group, cleaners, typesetters, translators, redrawers, and all and any contributors that work on this comic have to go through. Thank you all so much!!
Them: having passionate sex, feelings opening up to each other, blushing and being absorbed in each other's world.
Me: IS SOMEONE GONNA WALK IN? IS THERE A LOCK ON THE DOOR? IS THAT WINDOW TRANSPARENT OR IS IT TINTED SO PEOPLE CAN/CAN'T SEE INSIDE?
Also me: Give them a RAISEEEE they are top-notch multitaskers
I also love it when the art doesn't portray a transition or a scene change so if they were in the street and now they're having sex, you're like ARE THEY HAVING SEX IN THE STREET? WHERE DID THAT WALL COME FROM? OH A BED? HOW DID IT GET OUTSIDE? And then you realize they're in a hotel room, but for the span of a minute, they were hardcore exhibitionists

The irony of it all is that he would go to the mixer and have a shitty time regardless of breaking the movie plans or not. it happens ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍

Btw are matchmaking parties a normal thing in East Asia (goukons and mixers and the like)?
Besides like Match.com meetups, we don't really have them here in the US. Maybe speed dating events before dating apps were invented, but you don't see mixers nowadays here. Just curious if they are as common as I see them in manga.
I know for a fact that in Korea (not speaking for other asian countries) you are usually recommended a blind date with someone via a friend. Since your friend knows the person and thinks they'll match you so they'll hook their friend with you. Sorry if this doesn't make sense, it's late and I'm brain dead
So looks like the Duke is using alchemy or something to hide his "other face/true face" from when he spoke with the Count--therefore I have concluded that the Duke we see now is basically an avatar and he's just catfishing everyone
