i hope the end of the recent chapter is the duke coming to his senses, even for a bit, and helping jeanette escape before she gets manipulated further by the previous king (i hate him so much i forgot his name LOL). lowkey i feel like it's plausible since jeanette does have some anxiety over her identity but still sides with athy over anything. this is the author's blog and it seems that it's been a couple years since they last uploaded something about "we only held hands". the blog post is about the "latest" chapter (last one of season 2, which is what is uploaded here).
they said that they have a lot more they want to say, which would be in a third season, but only if they find a platform or publisher to do so. so i think they don't have a publisher right now for it. :( guess we're just gonna have to wait...?

i remember seeing this on t*pas before before they made a tweet over the summer saying to get the series for 80% off before they were gone forever from the app/website. i wanted to know if these chapters were the only chapter available before it was taken down, or if the author is still creating it, just on another platform?
i just wanna preface this with saying that i absolutely love hoya, would pay every cent to just breathe the same air as her, or even just exist in the same world as her LOL, but also i’m still unsure if i trust her. that convo with angela in the closet is stuck in my mind even throughout the chapters, and while it’s true that she does care about her brothers, it still made me feel hesitant to believe her. but also, when she thought “it’s time for me to start working more honestly(?) with the author)”
