This is kinda cliché but I wished they could not find minato’s body at the pond and him actually being the one playing the piano at the end. Kind of like minato lowkey had some issues with himself or some family issues and tried running away. Meanwhile finding traces and clues of minato and losing hope thinking he had passed, nagisa and kaito would realize their feelings for each other when they tried to reminisce their high school days.. they would later find minato playing the piano with no memory of their friendship and end it with them 3 talking things out and being best friends again. I didnt expect minato to actually have a girlfriend in the end and I wished he didnt bc it somehow threw everything off with how his character is made. Id prefer him to be someone who prefers to be alone throughout his life.
I forgot to include, minato running away as in, the pond “incident” was for minato to use as an escape plan (leaving his shoe behind as a last min thought knowing theyd catch up on it soon or better, not a clue and thinking hes dead). They couldnt find his body so they just assumed he died and rumored some pond spirit had/took him or assuming he just “went home” (calling him the pond god) oop yall this went on long, I just had to cuz I wasnt satisfied w the way it is
I think they shouldve showed us more of seme’s pov. I think thats why it seemed like he liked the uke outta nowhere. Like the seme’s pov when he first liked the uke, the time of uke’s absence and when he got the girlfriend.. Masaki was alil rushed but even so, it was plotted better than the seme’s. Also, masaki needs a happy ending too :’ . If the author could, pls make a story for our boy masaki.
IMAGINE THIS minato having a hidden twin(hidden for some reason). The twin (kaito and nagisa didnt know about) is the one that actually died thinking their bestfriend minato is the one that died :O
