Well, in the novel she was raped on the spot! during the kidnapping she literally scratched shen yu’s face until it was bleeding before hong lian arrived. The reason shen yu keep’s on coughing blood occasionally till 100+ chapters, was coz she made him drink parasite poison. And also she’s the mastermind behind the killing of the 9 concubines of the Zhenbie King. I don’t wish rape upon anyone, but she deserved her retribution.

She planned this with Hong Lian, (She brought a few servants with her and was beaten up, or the servants she brought she didn’t let them enter Qin Huai Manor since it’s a brothel.) She was doing this secretly so she hired man from Hong Lian to kidnap Shen Yu, and bring him to the brothel. I think she didn’t bring a lot of guards then, bec Song Qing was head of the guards and also Shen Yu’s personal guard. She didn’t want anyone reporting it to the King. What she didn’t expect was that Hong Lian who she hired would betray her...( I don’t want to spoil why, it will be revealed later on in the webtoon.) So, when the emperor arrived it was too late. The damage has been done, the princess had PTSD and went crazy, Qin Huai Manor was burned down. And Hong Lian went to hid inside the King’s palace. The emperor took Shen Yu to the capital... And that’s all. Lol.
