Hi,
I saw that you recently read, http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/ai_towa_yoru_ni_kizuku_mono/ and I was wondering, if you don't mind, what type of rape is the manga?
Is this a story where the victim is raped and falls in love and lives happily ever with the abuser. Or is it story where the protagonist is raped and goes through a recovery and finds healing process along the way, perhaps with the help of other characters.
The reason I ask is because I'm not into rape fiction where the leading characters falls for the abuser and lives happily ever after.
Your help is very much appreciated :)
Well, the whole story isn't about rape and it's just in one chapter. The one who committed the rape wasn't a main character and it seems like the main character who was raped recovered because he doesn't seem to have any trauma by the experience in the long term. Neither character of the main love pairing rape each other and anyone else for that matter. I hope this answers your question! :)
I haven't read the manga yet, but I've gotten shit for liking things in media (tv shows, books, etc) that wouldn't fly in real life or are morally questionable. But this is a little secret that puritans like to forget: just because you like something in fiction doesn't mean you're going to go do it or condone it in real life. Just because you find morally questionable things in media reprehensible doesn't mean you get to decide whether or not it should be allowed to be portrayed / used as a plot device. You don't get to decide whether or not the people who like reading these kinds of things are good people or not. We know it's not right in real life, you don't have to keep constantly reminding us to make yourself feel like a good person.
If you like reading these kinds of things you aren't a bad person and you don't deserve harassment and scorn for it.
(In response to another comment but I felt it would be good as a topic in itself).
