Louis in Japanese would be roughly translated as Ro-i-su. "Ro" because in Japanese the is no "L" sound, and "su" because there's no mute consonants, except for "N". That's due to their alphabet basically being composed of vowels, syllables and the letter "N". And they usually use the "-u" ending in such cases.
Also, the same translation is used for Royce, Ro-i-su, because the Japanese pick up foreign words from the sound, not the writting. And in this case, the ending "-ce" sounds like "-su" to them.
So that's why his name could be any of them. We can't be sure, unless Zaria-sensei writes it with an occidental alphabet.

"Lou" in Louis is "Ro" because of the sound too. Although it could be "Ru". Since I don't speak Japanese fluently, I'm not sure.

Haha, atually, the original name is Royce. Take a look at this page: http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/nemuri_otoko_to_koi_otoko/mi/mi_chapter-2/3/
The translators said the text was originally in English and the seme's name is written as Royce.

Ah thanks! I was a bit confused. :D
